Deadpool Walkthrough Part 26 – Front Gates Of EEEEEEEVIL! (Floating Stairs to Entry Hall)
As you approach the final large platform be careful there are a lot of clones shooting you form there. Take them out quickly with whatever you can or just move in quickly and start slicing them into little tiny pieces. Search around the platform for more ammo and some DP Points. When you are ready to move forward go over toward the massive platform to the right. You will need to Jump-Teleport to reach the edge.
Get up there and Sinister will send 3 Earthquakers after you. This does not look good overall. Pull out the hammers and shotgun to make easier work of them all. The more momentum attacks you can unleash against them as a group, the easier it will become. The gun-katas are very useful as well. Just remember to keep moving as they have their belly flop, rock wave and ground pound attacks.
After the Earthquakers you will be dealing with separate waves of different clone types. The first is a group of the Blade-wielding clones. Just deal with them quickly using the hammers (or katanas) and be sure to take advantage of any momentum you building up.
A second group will now appear from the opposite side. This is more your basic variety of clawed melee clones and some blaster clones as well. They are not as dangerous as the others so just tear on through them. It is a good idea to head up the stairs into the entry hallway to avoid the worst of the damage the gunner above can do to you. Take a little time to go into the right-hand chamber (to the left of the base of the big stairs) to collect more DP Points and ammo.
Go over to the left now and through the open gate. Inside you will find more ammo and a few more lingering clones that you should deal with. Kill them and press on to the left to find the stairs and take them up to that previously unreachable balcony with all the gunners. There are lots of clones up here and of a mixed variety. If you are having trouble with them then quickly retreat down the stairs to recover health and lure the melee units away from the gunners. That makes a big difference in terms of the damage that you take and makes it a lot easier to survive. Just be sure to head back up to draw more down with you for the next wave.
As you head up the stairs you have a Blade clone come down at you while a Gunner fires from above. Then a lot of gunners and melee attackers. Watch your health carefully if you want to make it all through in a single go. If you die here you are back to the start of the fight with the Earthquakers unless you can get through them all. Once you make it to the back part of the area, you are doing good. There is a single gunner above all the others you should take out if you can with some fine shooting. Otherwise go over to the left-hand side of this area and go on up the stairs. This has 2 more Blade Clones for you to deal with. Kill them then hug the wall over to the right to find the Gunner and take him out as well.
When the blood is all over and the bodies cooling head on up the stairs in the back to the right and go across the bridge to the opposite side. there you will find another wall of clones to deal with. The big concern is you have the Tornado Clones back in action and a White Marauder. Jump over the side and take cover if you need to recover some health. After that head over to the stairs and start back for the bridge. This likely will draw 1 of the Tornado clones over to you and the White Marauder. Kill them both then grab the Gatling Gun from the Marauder's corpse. This thing will help a lot because of the high number of clones that are coming at you. Just gun them down as they come at you. Head over to the far end of the area and head on down the stairs to make it to the next checkpoint.
