Skyrim Sidelines- Red Eagle's Sword: That's Not Rite

The locked chest here contains some items worth nabbing before you move into the main camp area and murder the two Forsworn waiting here, who may well be distracted with dinner despite all the loud fighting you are very likely to have done.  Another Forsworn is likely to come after you by the time you're done with them, from the direction of the ruins at the top of the mountain.  Dispatch him and check the archery range to the left- it may hold a bow you can use, and there's another sack of preserved food here.

Look to the right and climb the stone steps onto the ruins to face another Forsworn Forager with bow and arrow- and more dangerously (and importantly) a Briarheart.  This spellcaster -will- set you on fire a lot given half a chance, so anything you can do to take him out quickly while keeping some kind of obstacle in the way of his spells is a must.  Once he's down, you can snag the sword Red Eagle's Fury from his corpse (in addition to his briarheart).  Red Eagle's Fury is sadly not all that impressive for now, simply a high-quality sword with a fire enchantment for five damage.

The bookstand on the altar also holds a copy of The Rite of Red Eagle, to go with the copy of The Legend of Red Eagle that the Briarheart had in his tent- thus ensuring that you have some kind of idea what the hell you're doing up here.  Dig through the Briarheart's tent for some boots, a little food, a few pieces of valuable gear, and a chest full of treasure that has been left laughably unlocked.

Now that you have the Rite of Red Eagle and the Legend of Red Eagle, you're ready to head for the Rebel's Cairn, where Red Eagle was entombed, to wait for his followers to bring back his sword so that he might destroy the invaders that took over the land of Skyrim.  While this conceptually is all well and good, it's unlikely to be positive for anyone to have yet another powerful undead wandering around (in addition to the Draugr Scourge Lords and the Dragon Priests and the Gauldurson Brothers and.... well, you get the idea).
