In Mass Effect for the Windows PC, you can use a cheat to give yourself experience points. Here’s how:
1. Open the BIOInput.ini file, located at My Documents\BioWare\Mass Effect\Config
2. Locate the section that has a header of [Engine.Console]
3. In that section, under the header, type a line that says: ConsoleKey=Tilde
4. Now when you are in the game, you can press the tilde (~) to bring up the console.
5. Type givexp [number] – replace [number] with the number of experience points you would like to give. Press Enter and the cheat is entered.
