Cooler Master Storm QuickFire Pro -- Price $99.23
Another highly rated gaming keyboard that comes just under the 100 dollars budget is the Cooler Master Storm QuickFire Pro. Although perhaps not as popular as the 6GV2 above, it shouldn't be considered any less efficient. With mechanical 'high grade' Cherry MX Brown switches accompanied with a 1 millisecond response time (1000Hz) it makes the Pro a certainly mean gaming device with the right hands. Accompanied by its 'backlighting' with laser engraved keys the user can have the option of a N-Key roll over (USB) which essentially allows each key press to be registered regardless of how many others keys are held down. Overall, I have to say this my personal favourite -- a quality board and when you after you have become accustomed to the way it feels and works -- it can allow you to gain a big in-game advantage. Plus the fact that you are pretty unlikely to find a backlighting with MX brown switches on a keyboard for under 100 dollars.
Razer BlackWidow Ultimate Mechanical Gaming Keyboard -- Price:$102.99
The Razer BlackWidow Ultimate is the certainly one of the 'big players' in the gaming keyboard world, again like the 6GV2 and the Pro, the Blackwidow has a mechanical key infrastructure providing gamers with 'a tactile feedback' -- a rather crisp feel along with a claimed accelerated game play. Moreover, like the Pro, and as can be seen in the image above of the Blackwidow Ultimate -- it has illuminated keys for high game play even within low lighted areas. In addition, the keyboard offers you the ability to allow a simple "record[ing] of unlimited macros on-the-fly" allowing you to always stay in game. Again, a hugely popular keyboard amongst gamers and there is a reason why -- it works and it works well. And OK granted it is a little bit more than the budget mark, but there are alternative sellers out there who sell it for less than a $100.
Logitech Gaming Keyboard G510 -- Price: $94.99 Now, the Logitech G510, I have mixed feelings for. The keyboard isn't mechanical which does tend to hold a certain annoyance with me whilst gaming, however what it does have, which I really truly love is the onboard LCD gaming screen that allows you to read in game data analysis and statistics without ever needing to leave the game. Again, comes with custom backlighting and I have to say it really does look like the business. However, with a report rate of 500Hz (2 milliseconds) and like I mentioned before a non-mechanical key structure, it doesn't quite match my vote for the best gaming keyboard for under 100 dollars.
