I won't ruin the surprise, but I spent most of my Friday afternoon making my very own video game. You'll be seeing it on VideoGamer TV soon (unless while I'm on holiday next week the guys realise it's terrible and politely forget to do anything with it), so stay tuned. I've also been playing Until Dawn and Devil's Third, both of which you'll see reviews of pretty soon.
Guess what: that mystery game that I've been banging on about for a while is, of course, MGS 5. I'm under embargo to Monday, but that hardly matters, seeing as I've already tweeted my thoughts on the matter: the game is brilliant, and if you don't buy it you're a fucking degenerate. End of story.
Speaking of superb Konami games, I've also been playing PES 2016 review code. Which is also well good. Ah, what a swansong for the publisher: two of the best games of the generation. Maybe they should pack it all in. It won't get any better than this. Maybe.
What have I done? After suggesting that we should get Motorcycle Club into the charts on the podcast I've been swamped with tweets from people who have gone out and picked the bloody thing up.
Unless you have £5 burning a hole in your pocket you really shouldn't, of course. Motorcycle Club is awful, and not even in a 'so bad it's good' way. The handling is atrocious, the bikes sound like constipated wasps and it has some of the worst visuals I've seen in a current-gen 2015 boxed release. I'm still playing it, of course, because I'm clinically insane.
I'm also incredibly sorry to those who have bought it but, because I need a bit of a laugh, I'd love to know what you think of it in the comments below.
