This guide will give you a complete rundown of everything there is to do within the Tower.
Back to TopWhen you first land on the Tower, there is a red robot just to the right of the central set of stairs. Speaking to it with open up a map.
The whole area is divided into three main sectors, each with its own sub-sections. The left strut (marked in green on the map) contains Tower North, the one on the right is the Tower Hanger (in red), while the central area includes Tower Watch, Traveler’s Walk and the Hall of Guardians (both marked in blue).
Each location has different NPCs to speak to and obtain equipment from.
Back to TopThe Tower Watch contains the Cryptarch, Vaults, Special Orders, Postmaster, Gunsmith, Bounties, Crucible and Vanguards.
Back to TopThe Cryptarch, Master Rahool, decodes Engrams. Engrams are found throughout the campaign, but what they actually are is unknown at first. In exchange for Glimmer (Destiny’s form of currency), Rahool will decode them for you to equip. You can also buy Engrams from him, the risk is you never know exactly what you’re getting.
