Overwatch

Lots of changes to Beta Data this week, let’s dive in with Overwatch, who had a good showing at BlizzCon this past weekend, despite leaks prior to the convention. The shooter will be available upon launch for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 with a base edition, the ‘Origins Edition’ which incidentally is the cheapest version you can get for consoles and comes with a bunch of digital goodies, and a physical collector’s edition. Blizzard unveiled a new map and 3 new heroes for the game and announced a series of animation shorts and comics to explain the lore. It’s going to be a doozy.

Staying on the topic of shooter MMOs, however, Paladins have unveiled a series of Founder’s Packs, as well as their upcoming Beta schedule.

Meanwhile, Borderlands Online has been sadly canceled as 2k China closes. It seems that the publishers just didn’t believe the game could have much success in the current market.

And the gorgeous Korean MMORPG, Bless Online, has been delayed indefinitely to undergo some pretty major overhauls.

Black Desert Online have also confirmed that there will be an IP block on its Western release, meaning that the game will only be available for North American and European players due to licensing agreements with Pearl Abyss. Sorry Oceanic players.

In brighter news, however, several games gave us release dates for Beta, and even live, servers. Starting with Devilian who are running their third Closed Beta event this weekend, beginning November 12th. If you don’t have access yet, we have keys available! You will need a new one if previous access was also gained through a promotional key.

Tree of Savior, one that many of us have been waiting for, will begin Open Beta in South Korea this December.

Global survival game, Eco, is beginning their Alpha phase on November 23rd after a very successful Kickstarter campaign.

ArtCraft Entertainment are promising that Hunger Dome 1.1 update is coming very soon, also with no NDA, just like the last test.

Worlds Adrift have opened up Alpha sign-ups so get on that! It sounds like a great MMO.

Life is Feudal will be launching next week, on November 17th, after a fair while in early access. They even snagged Sean Bean for the announcement trailer.

And ELOA: Elite Lord of Alliance begin their Open Beta next week, also on November 17th, which you can pre-download now in preparation!
