If you have read our general gameplay tips for Frozen Free Fall, you will know that we mentioned charms there. Charms appear whenever four or more crystals of the same type are connected, giving you an advantage when used correctly. We’re here today to show you just what these special tiles will do and how you can achieve them. Just matching three crystals will soon not suffice to complete each and every level and advance in Frozen Free Fall, so it's time to step up your game and get these following combos under your proverbial belt!
Fourth time's a charm! Literally.
Summoning a Windchill in Frozen Free Fall is pretty easy. All you need to do is horizontally or vertically connect four crystals of the same type. A new tile will then pop up on the field that - upon triggering - will wipe clear an entire row of crystals depending on where the Windchill is pointed at. This charm is a good way to rid the board of pesky blockers or simply mix up the board a little bit.
It'll be tough, but you can do it!
The Iceberg might be a bit trickier to pull off, as you will need to form a T or L shape out of crystals in order for it to appear. Once you manage to get the icy charm on the field and also trigger it, the charm will explode and shatter all surrounding crystals. Twice. Unlocking the Iceberg is a good way to cover a big area and get things moving in the free-to-play mobile game, no matter the game mode.
Sweet, sweet glaciers.
Does this pretty little charm seem familiar to you? That’s probably because Glacier has the same effect as Elsa’s companion power. These freezing stars will appear whenever you connect five crystals of the same shape and color. You can then swap it with one of its surrounding tiles to eliminate all crystals of that particular kind on the board. This is used to strategically get rid of certain blocks or to simply cause a ruckus and hope for massive combinations to follow.
Woah, it's a double charm all the way!
The absolute biggest bonus can be achieved by connecting two charms with each other. Combining Windchill, Iceberg and/or Glacier with each other will almost always guarantee a full clear, giving you access to a whole new set of crystals to work with. Care for an example? Once you match a green Windchill with a Glacier star, all green crystals will also receive the Windchill bonus and blow up everything and anything. It’s pretty magical!
