Agar.io is easily one of the most addicting, but also one of the most frustrating free-to-play browser games that we have played in a while. It has swept across the internet in no time. Big streamers are playing it everywhere, partially due to its wacky gameplay and partially due to its strategic value. We’ve already shared how to more easily succeed as a small and mid-sized cell. Now, it’s time to share our two cents on being a behemoth in Agar.io.
Whenever you see those giant cells floating around, you probably think how easy it must be for them and how invincible they are. Well, that is not quite true. Sure, there might not be quite the fluctuation in size anymore that you will experience as a mid-sized cell, but things are far from being peaceful once you’ve reach a gigantic size. The top 10 in Agar.io are constantly shifting around within a game. As a giant cell, you are very slow. Sure, you only have to fear a few cells, especially if you are in one piece, but you also lack speed and dexterity. This can be your downfall when a smart player shoots a virus at you! Speaking of which, you should probably try to keep a safe distance from these green spikey circles at all times.

Splitting up into smaller parts can still be dangerous, as you are getting rid of your major advantage – your size. However, it will become very necessary to split into smaller parts, as you will stop growing at a certain size. Speaking of sizes, not eating anything will make your cell start shrinking, which is definitely not what you need at this stage.
Constantly check the ranking to see which cells are becoming dangerous for you. Aside from that, you can certainly take the game somewhat slower and should evaluate every move. Still, there’s not quite the same level of impending doom as when you are smaller.
