Plants vs. Zombies 2: Survive Day 10 in Jurassic Marsh

Plants vs. Zombies 2

Plants vs. Zombies 2

Another level that we couldn’t get through without losing one of our lawnmowers pretty early on in the stage. PopCap really outdid themselves with making this world challenging. We’re getting Big Wave Beach vibes here. Day 10 is definitely quite a lot to deal with, especially in the beginning when you get overrun by zombies and dinosaurs on several lanes. You simply couldn’t have collected enough sunlight, even if you had wanted to. You are also constantly torn between defending yourself, enchanting the dinosaurs, and attacking the zombies. It’s quite a lot, so here’s how we managed to get through.

You will face Velociraptors, Stegosauruses, and Pterodactyls in this level and your regular assortment of zombies. We recommend you equip yourself with Puff-Shrooms, Iceberg Lettuce, Primal Peashooters, Perfume-Shrooms, Twin Sunflowers, Split Peas, Chard Guards. We can’t really give you a precise step-by-step walkthrough for this stage, as too much happens at once. Here’s a few tips for the beginning.

Use your Puff-Shrooms and Iceberg Lettuce every single time they recharge. Plant Twin Sunflowers from the sun you collect and defeat the three first zombies only with the help of your Puff-Shrooms. After those three walking dead are defeated, the first Stegosaurus will appear. Save 150 sun to enchant him, as this will relieve you of a lot of stress. Soon thereafter, before your Perfume-Shroom has recharged, you will face the first Velociraptors. Guard yourself against them by positioning Chard Guards and try to plant as many Primal Peashooters as you can. Here’s where the chaos starts, and you will most likely lose a lawnmower, as the Pterodactyls appear. Enchant at least one of these pesky flying lizards and be quick with your attack and defense.

This is what our setup looked like towards the end of the level!

If you remain on your feet and constantly position whatever plants you have, you might get through the level alright. You will only have a few green leaves over the course of Day 10, which we used on Iceberg Lettuce to have a moment to breathe and think. Use them on your Twin Sunflowers if you need sun instead.
