For those who don’t have this application you can get it through their official iTunes page but ensure to follow given platform requirement (mention on that page) before downloading this game. As you start playing the game, you will be taken to Gunny’s Tutorial and from there you will learn the basics of how to play Calculord. As you finish the tutorial, it will take you to main menu and from there you can start your main journey. First you need to go to deck-builder to construct your first deck and everything will follows.
The entire gameplay observers two concepts, card game and puzzle game. It has a turn based system that as you play a number of cards, you need to follow the mathematical operation such as add, multiply, and subtract the semi-random numbers until they match the number designated with every card.
When you put a card, it will goes into one of a three lanes. Every turn will move forward into the lane and your object is to reach the end of the lane to cast an attack towards your enemies’ headquarters to deal damage.
As cards, there are three kinds of cards you can use in battle such as offensive, push and tactics. In push units it will push back offensive units in a lane and also hold them at bay when they attack. Offensive units is a kind of cards that will walk forward and do an attack against the opponent, technically offensive units can do great damage compare to pusher. Finally the tactics, this is consumable cards that can support or grant special abilities to a single lane.
To summon cards, you need to do the math and most of the time it will use up every number in your calculator. There is a bonus in summoning as you can extra sets of numbers on specific turn and this will give you double turn. This compensation will happen once every turn the same when using up every card in your hand to draw full and new sets of cards.
As you finish the battle, you will be given a set of random cards that you can add to your deck by going to deck-builder and here you can add or remove cards from your deck. Just insert cards you prefer just remember that you must have at least 30 cards in your deck to use in battle.
Building a good deck. This is not about putting up the right mix of units and tactics but this is about the probabilities associated with the numbers on your calculator. Example if you deck has a good number of even-numbered cards, it is good for you to keep your calculator clear of odd and prime numbers or you can adjust your calculator for odd and prime in vice versa. Actually this is the primary key in building your deck and concept of playing this game. As a beginner you will not think of it yet but definitely as you made progress in game and you will get the pattern on how you build your deck you should focus on also building your deck based on numbers.
Multiply by one. If you decided to remove all numbers from your board, it will totally give you a new start. To get the advantage from removing unused numbers is to reduce the excess to one and then multiply it by a number you can actually use to summon. This will consume extra summoning resources but it will refill as soon as you do it so there is nothing is worry about as you can get more advantage from clearing the board and removing those cards that don’t have potential to use.
Snowball one lane. If you decided to clear every lane of the enemy’s presence you should focus your forces. Don’t forget that you need only to crash down the enemy headquarters from one lane to do damage on it so if you can do a snowball attack from your troops in single lane, it has more probability for this attack to succeed without giving them a chance to recover.
Learn how to use Pusher. Though it can’t do great damage compare to offensive, push type units have high HP and armors that can let them absorb damage its primary play is to push back offensive units and delay them from doing a damage against you. Because of the stats of these type of cards has, it’s perfect to put pushers in the back of your lane so you can prepare for another clash of offensive units.
Learn how to use fast units. In game you are able to use units that have fast movement towards your opponent such bikers. So game trick is to force the enemy to hang on with their forces down a single lane, you can drop bikers into open lane to push on their headquarter very quickly without giving a chance for your opponent to make a counter attack or defensive action. In doing this strategy, you can accumulate two advantages, it will push the enemy to use their resources to defense those lanes instead of using it to guard your snowball lane and also it will allow you do to a cheap shop on your enemy’s HP before they can actually do some counter action.
Grind, grind, grind. Unlike with other mobile applications, Calculords is difficult to play in terms of beating AI opponent. This difficult essence of game is intended so you will be pushed to purchase premium boost and for the developer to generate profit. But since we are here in www.cheaterscircle.com, that is not the kind of game we have in mind. So instead of getting money from our pocket, our trick is to grind to enhance your overall performances as well as your deck. Don’t forget that leveling up has a huge factor in the game, so if you feel that you are fighting tough battle, just grind for XP to level up and later on you can beat the certain level easily.
Direct damage. You can do direct damage against your opponent by using tactic cards (purple cards). But then there are only limited numbers of cards that can be played each turn so you can’t spam it all the way but definitely a good source of damage to kill. Gradual killing will keeps your enemy from building their forces and let you grant the upper hand over a lane without risking your troops.
Do the universal formula. It is the card with high HP, definitely do low damage and vice versa. So with push units, mostly they have no damage-dealing abilities but good in absorbing most damage. You can use neutral cards to break this formula using the tactics cards to buffs your troops’ damage output. Pusher is better part of your offensive card if you can support it with additional damage due to high HP compare to offensive units with additional HP buffs. The logic is simple, high HP cards will let them survive longer and they have more possibility to do an attack against low-HP cards.
Power by number. Some cards have their abilities to multiplies copies of unit. Though this double-power units have low starting health, this is perfect in doing some great damage just don’t forget to protect them so they will not be wasted in game. Instead of sacrificing them in the front line, it is better to put them behind your pusher to enhance your possibility to do snowballing.
Push it all the way. Based on observation it is better to push from different lanes than to concentrate on one attack. You can use pushers to defend low-priority lanes at the starting game and use them to push harder to do an attack towards different offensive force. Just learn how to manage multiple spot based on what cards are present on that lane. You can use pusher in each other lane to slow enemy progress and find opportunity to do a blitzkrieg.
