Weapon and Player Selection

Remember in this game that every player card can use to fight around three rounds of battles. And because every Avatar can equips three weapons, each of the weapon is used for one of the fighting round. To make it easier for your to understand let’s break it down like these:

Avatar 1 Weapon 1 is used for round 1.
Avatar 1 Weapon 2 is used for round 2.
Avatar 2 Weapon 1 is used for round 4

To ensure this set up, you can check it yourself on how round set up flows from the Deck edit screen.

Battle Flow

In game there is primary battle flow and this is you and your opponent can do different battle commands. Different battle commands but attack are exchanged and whoever either fall on ring out or consume all HP will be defeated. As a player you will also be defeated once you run out of time.

In addition you have two special buttons in game such as heal and SP charging attack. In game you will see heart icon and that is correspond to a heal and the other is your avatars.

Weapon Durability

In this game, weapon has their effectiveness rates and this is based on its durability or sharpness. You will see it as the blue bar below your character. As you attack or guard, your weapon durability consume as it reach to zero your weapon effectiveness in battle will be lose. However as you finish your round, it will reset and see in the next round that your weapon durability sharpen. This is a good way to know if you are using a good weapon for your current stage. Actually there is no need to worry on this part because most of the time you will be already won or lose on match before your weapon durability goes to zero.

Weapon Skills

Did you know that you can use your avatar’s main weapon card in battle? Every weapon card can be used for each round and this weapon skills can be tapped right below the SP card. Definitely every weapon has their own different skills such as Defense Up, Heal, Attack Up, Weapon durability, and Timer’s up. What you need to do here is to manage everything to let you earn the advantage from using it.

Weapon Elemental

Now that we discussed about the weapon skills, it is time to unveil to you the weapon elemental flow that comes with disadvantage and advantage from other elements. The game will let you know what kind of element influenced on a certain stage before it will start, so the trick here is to change your weapon element that will suits to your advantage. Here’s the details on how elemental properties react on one another: Water is strong against Fire, Fire is strong against Air, Air is strong against Water while Light and Dark are both strong against one another.

Battle Command

This is the most important part of the battle. Even you have the upper hand on weapon element, durability, skills etc but without a strategized battle command you will only be defeated against your opponents. This is the building block of this fighting game where your character will be determined by their moves through the command of players.

Basic Command

In this game you have the opportunity to use the four types of basic command such as Vertical and Horizontal cut, Kick and Secret. Every move has their own effectiveness in a certain situation. To let you understand and give you hints in decision making of what basic command to use and where, here are the summary of these basic commands:

Vertical Slash – This is effective to deal with horizontal slash that can hit with long reach. So if your opponent use horizontal slash, you can use vertical slash against it.

Horizontal Slash – This is a magnificent blade swipe, cut directed through sideways.

Kick – Decent quick attack.

Secret – Stands as your special and finishing blow.

Guard – To put some twist with basic command, you can also block enemy attack by just dropping out the round without using any cards.

These battle commands overall ratings are based on your weapon card’s stats. Always check your card’s details to get the idea about the effective of each command.

Combo Commands

We discussed basic command to give you preview but actually when you are fighting, always go for combo attacks to unleash more damage. This is by means of having three alike cards together. The trick here is to look at your board and see if you have two or more same cards and then use those single out commands wishing that you can cast a combo command as you go on.

Now that you already have clue in making combination of attacks. It is time to set up your weapon based on their command ratio. To make this effective you must follow two primary strategy in game such as: Small combo – this focus only on one of the battle commands as what mostly appear on your line. From here you can do minimum of three card soulchain combo from your hand. And the other strategy is to put up with Maximum combo – If you wish your weapon card have the three command ration evenly like for Horizontal, Vertical cut and kick this way all of the have equal chance of appearing. This technique can give you massive damage but also requires a strong character for you to set up such kind of battle orientation.

Miscellaneous Command

These are commands that you can use in game to empower your action. Knowing their essence in a game can let you use them to the fullest.

Charging – this is a powered up combo command. You can activate this through the combination of two or more different advanced combo commands. With charge command you have the possibility to kill your opponent instantly.

Sp charging – As you tap the SP gauge icon when the gauge is at maximum level it will do some command to stuck area. SP Charge command will be included to command area wherein SP charge stands as special attack that can generate more damage. Don’t forget to use them upon filling up your SP charge bar.

Carryover – This is powerful command that can you do in preparing yourself for tough upcoming battle ahead. Here you will notice that battle command will be included to your next round. Meaning to say if you have advanced combo or charged combo you can save them and use to the next round. The trick here is when you are about near to kill your opponent just save it for your next round.

Throw – This is an important command that will works as counter to your opponent’s guard. This can also break you from the possibilities of ring out situation when you are near to the edge. Just like in typical fighting game you can throw your opponent if happens that he is only doing a guard all of the time. Throw is unblockable command that you can do anytime with a correct timing and anticipation because you really need to get closer without doing some offensive move. Throw command is can be activated with R tier or higher card.
