3. Create a balanced team. You will start your team with a minimum fighter, mage and archer so you are able to counter different class. Yes there is a flow with every character wherein a specific character is better than another. The flow goes like this: mages are strong against fighters, fighters are strong against archers while archers are strong against mages. And that is how the game will start but as you raise your entire base stats, this flow will become less important at all as you need to focus on equipment and other elements in the game for your maximum potential.
4. Unlocking new heroes. Of course everyone wants to try a secret heroes so they wish to unlock it. Basically, this will inspire players to keep on playing. Well in Age of Warriors, you need to improve your military rank to unlock new heroes or before you can purchase new heroes in the hero hall. You can do this once you unlock the Battle Court features in the game wherein this will allows players to attack other real time players. Just ensure that your opponent team levels and equipment is lower than yours or you should boost your own characters before heading in this competitive set up of the game. There is no need for rush in this part just prepare your entire team for it and make it your own goal of improving them to the fullest.
5. Keep your skills upgraded. Not only with items and equipment but also you must synergize your skills and keep them upgraded. Your skills play an important part in winning the game. Most of them can bring great advantage to your team including the fighter’s valuable God of War skills that will boost his block rate to 100% so he can tank everything (physical) in game giving them invincibility to physical damage and that is the reason why we should use fighters as tankers in game and to be positioned in the front line. There is also a good skills to be considered with ranger and its Powershot skill which shoots out a piercing shot in a straight line. This is perfect when dealing with enemies that are lined up wherein you can let them eliminate in just a single shot. Always use this to its full potential by upgrading those skills to the top.
6. Good position is a must. We mentioned about the fighter being a tanker, and that is the best position for him. You will find in this game that proper positioning is a key for winning most battles. Actually before every battle, you have a chance to move around your heroes. It is very important wherein you can cover up your weakness with advantage and this could be the biggest part of your strategy. As what we mentioned above, we can use fighters as the frontliner or tanker for having a good skills to block 100% damage plus he has the strongest defense in your team. With this position, he can protect those nukers such as archers and mage that are not capable of receiving lots of damage but can cast multiple damage against enemies which is far better than fighters can do. So from correct positioning, you can always have the advantage and covering your disadvantage. The observes this kind of orientation, heroes and enemies will attack the closes target to them, and you can see this by moving your heroes around. You will see a blue line that shows that your heroes are going to attack while for the red line, this will show what the enemies are going to attack. Just keep your fighter in the front and all enemies will focus on him and distract their attention to attack your archer and mages.
7. Boost your heroes. Aside from equipment and skills there are still lots of ways to improve your heroes. You can train your heroes after you pass different levels. You are given a selection of three instructors who can improve individual stats. Just pick a hero and that stat you wish to improve. This will be based on success rate so ensure that you are dealing with 100% success rate while 50% success rate will restore everyday. So when you found out that you are lower than 100% you must stop your training and spend days to replenish it. You can also upgrade your class upon getting a badge. You will start it after clearing some levels in the second world, Death Valley and you will see that the Realm of Spirit will unlock the Stormrage Plains. Here you can undertake trials to battle and win over difficult opponents. If you manage to win those battles, you will be rewarded with badges and this will allow you to upgrade your class. This is the most improvement you can do with your character as you can see all of their stats will improve and they are capable of learning new skills.
