So to know more about your card you must look at their attacks and strengths since every card has their own distinct attacks. For instance, the Emboar has the Firebreathing as the basic attack and this allows players to flip a coin and do extra 30 damage if you successfully get a heads. There is also card that will boost your attack power but you need to discard one energy attached to the Pokemon. Yes every card has their own unique rules/requirement to follow before you can use their ability in battle. Just take time understanding them and learn how can you use them to your strategy.

6. General strategy guides. To make the battle simpler and get always the advantage you must play all possible cards before attacking until it ends your turn automatically. You should learn how to use fast Pokemon and never rely to much with your damage-based Pokemon as this will cost you too much from your energy. Timing is the key while using everything in your hand even those lesser-damage based card. Use your energy cards wisely. Do not use them all on the same Pokemon that will only bring risk of having no energy especially when this card gets kill. The same with energy card, you must use boosters wisely and ensure that you retreat and change active Pokemons if the opponent has a card that able to damage your more based on elemental advantage.
