So if you are excited to play this game, you better check out some strategy guides and tips below to help you have a better jumpstart for this game.
1. Configure your primary card to Vanguard position. In this game, every squad has one slot for a vanguard unit. You can put any unit here and they will guaranteed to show up in your first hand at the start of a battle. Based on what you squad’s strategy is, you will wish to put your most effective unit here or should I say your favorite character. For instance, if you are widely in use of your defender, you can set him as the vanguard for your own advantage.
2. Manage your captain skill wisely. Don’t forget that your captain can fight too and from here you need to utilize your captain skill. For every captain, it can bring one skill with them into battle which can be then used during their turn. But then once used, a captain skill has to cooldown for a certain amount of turns before it can be used again. The key here is to consider changing your captain skill in your squad menu. Captain skills vary and each one is suited for a different strategy. Some skills heal units, damage opposing units, shield your ally unit and lot more. They also each have two versions: one that has a short cooldown but only targets one units and one that has a long cooldown but targets all units. As you just started playing the game, it is better to do with defensive skills such as shield skills and healing.
3. Deploy defenders first. This is a rule of a thumb in this game, since defenders can take lots of damage from your opponent. You will see that defender class, displayed by a blue shield and this corresponds with class that has a high defense rate. They have the capability to protect your weaker units or those unit which is focused with offensive factors. So as your primary stratagy, consider sending your defender first down a lane and then support units behind. For instance, you can send in a gunner or mage or nuker typed pieces on your team behind the defender to defender to do some awesome ranged damage while keeping them out of harms way. Don’t forget that defenders also have the taunt ability, which keeps the enemy they’re fighting from changing lanes for 2 turns.
4. Join event missions to get bonus gold and experience. If you scroll around the map, you will see exclamation marks in a certain areas. These are event missions, which only last for a certain duration of time. If you ever play these levels, you will earn something special, usually some type of special unit or increase gold and experience. Just be careful since these missions are challenging corresponds with great rewards so you need to ensure that you are using great squad before going in this event.
5. Don’t forget to boost your unit’s power through training. If you’ve got extra units, you can fuse them with existing units to power them up. If the unit to be sacrificed has a high level, the base unit will receive more experience. Basically you will out of inventory space in this manner, so you will need to get rid of some units. This is the best way to comply in this set up. Think about that some units can even be promoted into much stronger unit, but they need first to reach the maximum level as well as certain maters to perform it.
