1. Start following your quest. As you just started playing the game, most of the time especially who don’t have much experience in playing such game, they don’t know what to do in game, so from here it is better to work with your quest. Ensure that you are following your quest. These sets of task will lead you down the general progression path of the game which will tell how much progress you are doing in game. This will also let you ensure that your buildings and army stay up to date and can comply with the game set up. Completing quest will also let you earn fair amount of gold and experience points which can make a big difference in game. 2. Combine your units for more effective attacks. After reaching level 7 or 8, you will unlock the ability to fuse two of the same type of units to form stronger units. For instance, merging slingers will let you earn Slingers II. REgular Slingers have 2 attack and defense while for Slingers II it has a 6 attack and defense which is greatly high than the first one. 3. Manage your boosters evenly. In game there’s a category of building called boosters. These buildings are usually a decoration of some sort such as a tree or fountain and so on. Upon placing it near other buildings, these boosters will boost the efficiency of the building. Each booster has its own boost rate that you need to understand. For instance, you put down a fountain next to a quarry, this will boost the quarry production rate by 6%. The good thing here is that these effects stack so you can put multiple booster. The best thing here is to experiment with your layout and don’t forget to distribute the boost evenly with your town set up. It is also good to consider to place your boosters in the center of your land and then build around it so it can boost the majority of your buildings.
4. Memorize the weapon flow. The game has property rules that works as weapon triangle. This goes like this: lighting is strong against shield, shield is stronger against sword and sword is stronger against lighting. These are also premium units which represented by the star icon. These guys are good against everything and you should use this to your maximum advantage. You will see what types of units you are going up against upon initiating a fight. From here you can take advantage from the flow once you memorize it.
5. Unlock most content of the game. You will see that there are lots of things in the game which is remain not available until you reach a certain number of levels. 6. Take advantage with players having lower glory. You will see glory value as the number next to your character portrait. Try to get encountered with lower ranked players as this will be easier to break down their defenses. 7. Understand the troops you have in your hand. Consider their strengths and weaknesses, that is the best thing you can do as you build your strategy. Keep in mind that different unit has their own weaknesses and strengths. Meaning to say, you need to know them every well and use their advantage to cover up their disadvantage while converting your weaknesses into power to beat your opponent. The key here is to have every type of troop so that when you hit auto-battle they will automatically arrange into right order against your opponent. In addition, you can tap on buffs or nerfs which you see around during the battle. You can also tap on the projectiles coming from the enemy side so you can prevent them from hurting your troops.
