Fallout Shelter Guides: Easy Caps, Power, Water and Food

Yesterday we shared the top 12 Fallout Shelter cheats and guides which most players from this newly yet the top in app chart today need to dominate this game. The game is now avaialble on iOS which everyone can download for free as well there is a free version for Android based platform that is tend to release later. The game is about a resource-management genre which will let you manage your resources in game. So the game is about strategy on putting up the cycle of your resources such as power, water and food in balance. The game also offers different set up that will challenge you including competition between different players around the world. And I believe for you to dominate the game, the foundation here is a proper gameplay. In this post, we want to add a new twist on how you can get power, water and food easily as this is the primary foundation of Fallout Shelter. You can also add you personal tips on how you manage these resources effectively without leaving any single of it.

1. Don’t rush the game. This is a common mistake of most players since they want to make progress and they do it with rush but actually that is not a good idea. Just try to avoid doing the rush as you can if you are thinking on your resources. Since rush can you resources quickly but if the rush fails you will lose lots of time and Dweller health will suffer in Radaroaches and fire. So it is better to let the timers count down on their own and just enjoy every moment of it.

2. Build a giant sprawling 3x wide room. Well for you to make it possible just place two identical rooms under the same upgrade level  which next to one another for a 2x wide room and then place three identical ones next to each other. With this kind of room, it will take longer for you to collect from the relative to the amount of Dwellers who work in them but definitely these will provide more than x2 or even x3 resources from a simple room. This is perfect especially if you don’t have much time to play the game longer and most of the time you are out of it. You can put just one Dweller in one of these huge rooms and get the same amount of resources.

3. Maximize your footprint. You will see that in this game, your resources are used by your vault and by your dwellers just by existing so from here it is better for you to maximize your footprint. You can minimize the amount of rooms that you have while maximizing the amount of upgrades on your existing rooms. Keep in mind that upgrading an existing room will not cause it to use any more resources than before but definitely it will put out more resources instead.

4. Getting as many as possible for higher possibility for you to collect caps. In this game you will see caps tend to randomly appear when you tap on rooms. But caps is not common as power, food, radaways so most of the time you will get them and you will get a cap not as easy as those other resources. The only thing you can do here is to have as many rooms as you can.

5. Always upgrade your vault to protect it. This can be consider as the gateway to the rest of your progress and definitely if you miss to upgrade it, it will be easier to get attacked and for your resources to get raided. So you are not only manufacturing resources but also keeping it in a safe place against intruders.

6. Complete quest for easy caps. We mentioned above that caps comes as rare resource but you can still get it easily by completing quest. So you better focus on completing quest for quick caps. You will see that most of your objectives will let you earn small amounts of caps for you just save them until you earn enough to purchase important things in game. If you are serious in this game you can go for the best quest which are the lunchbox quest that can bring over 1,000 caps.

7. Getting free resources outside of the vault. Resources is not only available inside the vault but there is also a chance for you to find resources outside of the vault. You need only to send one of your dwellers into the wasteland. Just keep in mind that the longer they stay in there, the higher the percentage for them to find something good. But also it is not a good idea to stick around too long since this will risk their lives from dying.

8. Getting caps from wasteland. Sound ironic but you are able to get this rare resource by sending people out into the wasteland and they will earn you caps. With the same concept of sending your dweller outside of your vault, you will get more capt by sending them longer into the wasteland. But also sending them for too long might let them die on this area. And for you to revive them you can spend caps, so I guess you know that it is nonsense to let them die for the sake of caps and then spend these caps to revive them.

9. Acquiring free caps by simply letting them to level up. In this game you will get compensated by simply letting your dwellers increase their levels. As part of the system, you will gain a number of caps equivalent to the level  that your character has just reached. So if happens that your dweller reach level 15, definitely you will acquire free 15 experience which later you can convert for more caps in game.

10. Selling rooms will let you get quick caps. If you think that you really need caps instantly, you can consider selling rooms if you want to get some quick caps back. Just don’t forget that this will end up with a whole lot of unassigned dwellers. Only consider this method if you really need that caps badly.
