Don’t Get Wet is an insanely addictive skill game that has just made its way to the App Store and it’s retro charm certainly puts it up there at the top of the best “impossible” skill games. Why do I say impossible? Well, because you have to control two characters at the same time and have them avoid drops of water – something that’s not as easy as it might sound. But I am sure you already know that, and this is the reason why I am here to share with you a complete set of Don’t Get Wet cheats and tips to help you get a score as high as possible.
There are a ton of trophies to be won and we have to make sure that we win them all, right? So let’s not waste any time, and let’s check out below the Don’t Get Wet tips and cheats for a super score below!
The easy cheat
Actually, it’s extremely simple to cheat at this game and get the top score: don’t play alone! Simply bring a friend over or a family member or anybody and each of you will control a side of the screen: having to only avoid drops with a single character is child’s play and you can go on forever until you top the leaderboards. There’s no fun in this, of course, but if you love to see your name up there at the top, it’s something that’s worth doing.
Change your characters
You can actually play as different characters in the game, but it doesn’t seem that they have special attributes or that the bring any changes to the gameplay. In order to change the characters, you can simply tap the buttons at the base of the screen on the Don’t Get Wet main menu.
Pay attention to the avoided drops too
What makes this game even more difficult if you play it alone is that you don’t only have to concentrate on the incoming drops, but also the ones that you have avoided: if you tap the screen too soon and your character hits the already fallen drop of water, it’s also game over – so always time your tapping right and make sure to only switch sides when it’s safe.
One at a time
Trying to control both characters at the exact same time and tap simultaneously won’t work. Instead, even if you have to move both characters, tap in a short succession: otherwise your brain will eventually get confused and you’ll tap both sides of the screen when you won’t have to.
Practice and take breaks
Practice makes perfect and this also applies to Don’t Get Wet. However, you will get tired pretty easily since your concentration levels will skyrocket, so make sure that you take breaks every 10 or 15 minutes for at least 5 minutes. With a rested mind and with you being a lot calmer, you’ll do a lot better when you get back to the game! Good luck!
