1. Watch the ball carefully!
It’s all about quick reflexes in this game. When the pitcher throws the ball, keep a very close eye on it. Do not attempt to swing at balls that are veering away from you – that’ll result in a strike. Instead, watch the ball for a second. If it starts to turn to the side and you think it’s not going to be within hitting range, don’t swing! Wait for an opportune pitch to hit it hard.
2. Check your team’s stats!
Each batter has 4 different stats.
Likewise, there are stats for pitchers as well.
Be sure to go over your team’s stats, and swap them out whenever you receive a better players!
3. Play bonus games whenever you get the chance!
Every so often you will get the chance to play a bonus game. Bonus games are sort of “pre-recorded” in the sense that you don’t have to wait for your opponent to take their turn, meaning you can play all the way to the end if you so wish. These game are great ways to earn gold and also franchise coins! Quick Bonus Games are exactly like the bonus games, except they start you out right at the 9th inning. Play these when you can!
4. Grab some franchise players for some heavy hitters!
If you’re going up against a particularly tough team, you might want to call upon the aid of franchise players. Franchise players are powerful 5-star players that are a valuable asset to any team. You can hire one at any time by using a franchise coin. As noted before, you can earn franchise coins sometimes by beating opponents. Franchise players can only play in a certain amount of games before they’re automatically removed from you team, so be careful! You can extend the amount of games they’ll play in by using another franchise coin.
5. Utilize the advanced strategies!
When the opportunity arises, you will get the option to perform a steal or bunt. Bunts are when the batters lightly hit the ball, making it roll along the field instead of launching it. These are good for opening short windows for your runners to steal a single base. Steals are when you make your runners advance to another base without the ball being batted. As you can probably infer, this a high risk high reward move! If your runner is “caught stealing”, then it’s an automatic out. This is a great move though if the game is heated and evenly matched, because it might be the winning move! Consider the field and your players before you perform an advanced strategy.
Those are just a few beginning tips. Remember that you’re always going against another human player, so you’re going to learn some new stuff! If you have anything else to share, feel free to comment!
