1. Switch cover spots!
More often than not, you will have multiple spots to take cover. You can switch between them by tapping the arrows presented on the screen. While you can’t fake out enemies by having them think you’re still at one spot, you can however get another angle on the battlefield. If you’re having trouble taking out a certain enemy, try switching to another spot. You might end up in their blind spot!
2. Wait for breaks to shoot or move!
Once enemies are alerted to your position, they will lock onto and fire at your spot non-stop. After enough rounds though, they’ll usually break for about a second before they start firing again. They’ll keep doing this until they have to reload. Wait for those small breaks to return fire or if you really want to play it safe wait until they need to reload.
3. Bring some knives with you!
Throwing knives can be purchased in the shop. Throwing knives are easy-to-aim weapons that take out most enemies in one hit. Best of all, they’re completely silent, so nearby enemies won’t be alerted. Utilize them to breeze past waves of enemies!
4. Aim for the head!
While this is obvious it’s so important it bears repeating: always aim for the head! Headshots do massive damage to enemies, if not outright killing them in one hit. You get bonus points for them as well, which means more rewards at the end of a level.
5. Upgrade the economy in your headquarters!
Once you gain access to the defense and PvP options, you can upgrade your headquarters. The first thing you should try to upgrade is the data crystals economy. This increases production rate, the max amount of crystals you can carry at once, and how many crystals are produced. Data crystals are important for defense upgrades, and sometimes you’ll need them to upgrade your guns.
