Sky Squad Cheats: Tips & Strategy Guide

The aliens are invading earth and it’s up to the legendary Sky Squad to save the day! Sky Squad is a classic shoot-em-up inspired by arcade classics. 1. Upgrade your main weapon!

Out of all the upgrades, you should be prioritizing your main weapon first. All of the other upgrades upgrade the temporary power ups which drop randomly from the aliens. While most of them are useful, you’re going to be shooting A LOT, so you’re going to want to make sure your gun is upgraded as much as possible before you start upgrading the temporary power ups.

2. Don’t forget about your slow down!

You have a slow down power up that can be activated at any time during a level. Just tap the down arrow power up at the bottom right corner of the screen. This can be done once per run, and it can get you out of a sticky situation! Time slows down for everyone but you; use this if you get cornered because you can’t kill an alien fast enough or if there are too many bullets on screen.

3. Keep your fingers near the bottom of the screen!

You two special attacks – the slow down and bomb – are located near the bottom corners of the screen. You’re going to want to keep your fingers near the bottom so you have quick access to these buttons. Bombs are the best bet for survival in a pinch after you’ve expended your slow down, so be quick as you can to activate it!

4. Buy a minion!

When you first start the game, you’ll begin with 10,000 gold. Your first minion will cost you exactly 5,000 gold so be sure to buy one. Minions are little side planes that fly with you and add some extra firepower. As you fly with them, they earn experience and become stronger. 5,000 is a steep price but it is well worth it.

5. Look for the lighter colored aliens!

When you’re attacking through the alien waves, look for the lighter colored ones. The lighter the alien, the weaker it is. This is important to remember because eventually it’ll get to the point where the waves will come nonstop and you’re going to have to find a way through as fast as possible. The darker colored aliens have more health, so avoid them if you’re just trying to get through!
