Metal Skies Cheats & Hack for Gold & Medals

Metal Skies is an aerial dogfight simulation first person shooter. The game simulates the airborne combat between two opposing planes.

The main concept of the game is taking to the clouds and battling enemy planes. You get to use a small arsenal of missile launchers and machine guns to help you defeat your enemy. As you play more, you notice that your opponent starts to use evasive maneuvers so it starts to become trickier to keep them in your crosshair target.

Metal Skies takes you on a trip through time, to World War Two, you are a new recruit fighter pilot of Tiger Squad and it is your mission to take out the dreaded Shadow Jaegers. You can customize and upgrade your plane as you begin to earn more coins from successful fights. There are quite a few customizable options when it comes to your plane, so you can really make it your own.

In Metal Skies, there are two playable modes; multiplayer mode and campaign mode. Multiplayer mode allows you to play against other players whereas campaign mode is more story based as you complete missions and see your character rise up the ranks of Tiger Squad.

The game is currently running version 1.0.0 and requires your device to be running at least iOS version 5.0 or later and is available to play in multiple languages. The game can be downloaded for free from the app store with the option to further purchase in app content. The game currently has a four star rating in the app store with mixed reviews from players.

Metal Skies Cheats & Tips

Since Metal Skies is still a fairly new game, there have been no hacks created for the game yet, however, a hack has been highly requested on hacking forum sites, soit probably won’t be long until one is around. Since there are no hacks, I came up with a few tips and tricks that you should follow in order to do well in game. First all, when shooting at your opponent, bear in mind that shooting into their wing will only cause them 50% damage, wheras shooting into the body of the plane will cause a much higher damage rate of 100%.

Whilst your machine gun turrets may be used to shoot constantly, they will quickly overheat and will be unusable until you use coolant on them. You will know if your guns are getting overheated as they will start to turn red. To avoid the problem with overheating guns and spending time cooling them down, what you should do instead is just shoot in short concentrated bursts as this way, they won’t fill up the heat gauge and have short periods of time to cool a little before you start to shoot again.

When you begin to upgrade your plane, you should initially focus on upgrading your plane’s speed rate as a faster plane will make it easier for you to avoid the attacks of your enemy, meaning that you will have a better chance of winning the fight and getting more coins which can spent on other upgrades. You should ensure that you also spend some of your coins on upgrading your planes health points as you’ll have a stronger plane which will be able to take more damage in fights whilst still being able to stay in the sky for much longer than previously able.

Try to keep your target in your crosshairs for as long as you can as this will fill up your missile gauge, once you are able to fire a missile, attempt to steer the missile into the body of the plane, dealing maximum damage to your enemy. Different missile will deal different levels of damage, it all depends on the color of your crosshairs when targeting.

If you see your crosshairs turn orange your missiles will deal a hundred and fifty percent damage to your enemy and if you see your target gauge turn red, you’ll want to attempt to do the most damage then as a red gauge will deal two hundred percent damage. If you shoot a missile during any of these times, you are guaranteed to make a decent hit.

Metal Skies Review

One thing I did like about this game was that is gave a fairly realistic representation of being a fighter pilot in WW2,it encourages more users to learn more about the wartime era which is something everyone should take the opportunity to look into at some point in their lives.

Since this game is still only on version 1.0.0, it still has a lot of potential which I hope it will live up to in future updates, there are a lot of issues with this game which need to be resolved before I can view it properly as a good game. Right now, the game feel like it was released too early with not enough beta testers.

This game really does not run well at all, when I attempted to play. There was an incredibly slow frame rate which would cause the picture to completely free up every few seconds, making smooth gameplay impossible. I couldn’t shoot accurately nor could I aim my precious missiles, so defeating my enemy took longer than it should have done; I even lost far more health points than I would have, had the game actually run how it was supposed to do. Metal Skies is another one of those games that uses an energy based gaming system that takes time to fill back up again once it has all been used and unless you’re willing to pay, it can take a little while for your energy gauge to be completely re-filled. Since you’re doing the same thing over and over again, the game gets repetitive very quickly and really makes you just want to get rid of the game. There have also been reports from various users that the game will just randomly crash making it completely unplayable.

I hope in future updates, these issues are addressed and any games released in the future by Kabam will be better tested by a larger pool of users with a variety of devices so they are able to see what works and what doesn’t. This could be really be a much better game than it is right now and I only hope that Kabam realizes this before they alienate too many players for the game to be a success.

Ratings:

Artwork: I give Metal Skies a 8/10 for its artwork. Considering all of the other issues in this game, the artwork is surprisingly well done, they planes are very realistically designed to be WW2 type planes so this definitely helps in placing you in wartime and giving you a better sense of what it was like.

Music and SFX: I give the game a 5/10 for its music and SFX. The music for this game was weirdly out of place, it seemed more like disco music than 30’s and 40’s style music which made the game feel a little less authentic. The sound effects were also a little too ”pew pew” for my liking, it made a mockery of wartime fighting styles.

Story and Originality: I give the game an 8/10 for its story and originality. The story in this game is actually very well thought out and makes me want to play to learn more about the story of my pilot and how she advances through the ranks of fighter pilots. Whilst the concept of plane simulation and fighting games is not a new one, this game has the potential to do the genre justice.

General Gameplay: I give the game a 5/10 for its gameplay. The gameplay was miserable and boring. You essentially do the same thing over and over with increasing difficulty, which is something that gets old very quickly. Bang bang, they’re dead, ok, next level, bang bang… you can see how that can get very dull.

Addictiveness: I give the game a 6/10 for its addictiveness. I could see this game becoming very addictive if the developers address a lot of the issues I have mentioned. But as of right now, it’s a game I could only play for five minutes before it was lost to the depths of my rejected apps.

Overall I rate Metal Skies 6/10.
