If you’re a huge fashion fanatic, and always are looking to show your friends or family the newest styles, we have a game for you! Crowdflower Inc has always been dominant in the aspects of fashion in gaming, partnering up with many luxury clothes brands to bring you the best in gaming. Now, they’ve brought us Covet Fashion! Covet Fashion is a game where you get to dress your character, and have real life people rate you! Rated 4 out of 5 stars in the App Store, this game is simply addictive. Nice music, nice UI, the abundance of tasks to complete and enjoy, but of course there’s showing off your fashion style to the world (which is the arguably the addictive part of this game).
The goal of this game is to win fashion competitions, beating other people and gaining fashion products to become the best player of the world! Upon entering competitions, you are asked to choose an outfit to wear which is appropriate for the occasion, and if it’s good enough (as selected by your fellow players), you will win cash and bonus items! You can download this for both iOS and Android devices too.
Signing up is a breeze. You can sign up via Facebook or simply click “Play Instantly” to instantly jump into the game. Signing up with Facebook, of course, is the best option because you can earn cash through referrals and share your outfits with your friends! Upon entering the game, you are provided with a tutorial challenge, where you already have all clothing outfits, and you have to dress for a party. A little cheat here is that you should choose a nice simple dress and exquisite shoes. You will be on the track to win your first competition this way!
If you win, you will get an extra outfit and some extra cash for you to spend. However, whether you do or don’t, you will still be able to collect your start $4,000 cash to pick your outfits that you will need for future competitions. However, following this guide, packed with lots of tips and cheats, will make sure you get more than $4,000 through wins!
Now that you have your $4,000 cash, you now can buy some extra clothes items. As a little cheat tip, it’s suggested you buy some simple dresses and shoes to start off with. You can play risky and choose the higher end of clothes – it’s your game! However, if you lose, you’ll be down energy and the cash wasted on bad looking clothes. Choose wisely!
If you’re a Facebook player, you can choose to show your friends your awesome outfits. If you’ve made one, go ahead and show them! They’ll love it! Here’s the best little cheat of all: Referrals! If someone signs up under your Facebook Post, you get $1,000 cash (a quarter of your starting bucks)! How amazing is that? You can get some basic dresses, or splurge on that expensive exotic dress you always wanted!
There are always about ten competitions ready to compete in. However, this game runs with a ticket system, and you start off with 75 tickets that refresh periodically. A competition entry can range from ten tickets to about thirty tickets, which heavily limits how many times you can play competitions. If you run out but you thirst for more, you can always use the diamonds allocated to buy tickets or simply buy more diamonds to get lots of tickets. As you progress in Covet Fashion, you will get a higher capacity so don’t fret!
Covet Fashion is a game where you will need a lot of cash and diamonds in order to purchase new outfits and accessories in order to win the game. If you are like most people, you don’t want to spend real money buying diamonds and cash through the in-app purchasing option. This is why you need to download our free diamonds and cash hack generator, which gives you unlimited diamonds and cash without you ever buying a thing!
As you see in the picture below, we offer an easy-to-use interface, which allows you to just type in the amounts of the diamonds and cash you want to add to your account.
Once you start downloading the Covet Fashion hack tool, you will find it completes in under 1 minute, and it will automatically install. After the installation is complete, simply select either Android or iOS, and then the hack tool will be ready to use. You just enter the amount of diamonds and cash you want to add to your account, and then click “Start” so that the hack tool can begin working.
You will then be able to open up the Covet Fashion app on your device, and instantly see the amount of diamonds and cash you added to your account ready to be used. Here at AppGameCheats, we have added this free hack tool for Covet Fashion so you can become the shopper you always wanted to be without needing to use real money to get yourself the latest trends and accessories.
As far as cheats goes, there’s not that any. However, I can offer you lots of tips as an experienced player of “Covet Fashion”!
Because of the nature of the competitions, it is hard to pinpoint exactly what competitions will be available to compete in for “Covet Fashion”. However, you can thwart this disadvantage by outsmarting your opponent and knowing exactly what to do!
First, study the competitions available. Is it for a girl’s night out? Movie premiere? Now that you know exactly what competitions you have to do, you need to pick your clothes accordingly. Here’s a little cheat – if the competition says movie premiere, you should look up some movie premiere dresses on Google – remember, clothes from famous luxury clothing brands are put into this game! Buy those clothes, and win!
Secondly, make sure your clothes can be used for a variety of competitions. Let’s just say there is a superhero cape in the shop for $1,000 cash, and a competition that uses it for mere $200 cash. Don’t buy it, if it only has one use. It’s all about outsmarting your opponent, and saving cash! Use that money instead to buy some other dresses that can be used for a large range of competitions (for example, a blue dress could be used for a movie premiere and maybe a girls night out)! If there’s one advantage people have over you, it’s money. Don’t waste the money you have.
Finally, another little cheat is referrals. You get $1,000 cash for simply referring someone to play! $1,000 is a lot of money in this game, considering competitions pay out around $300 and your money given upon sign up is $4,000. The more referrals, the better! Maybe you can buy that designer item which for sure will get you ahead in competition!
The UI of this game was nicely designed, and looks smooth and fresh. The design is modern, and the character animations and the models look very realistic. Again, this game was designed to reflect real life, and this game has aced it. However, if there’s one complaint to make, it’s that the UI when sliding around clothes is slightly rough, and tends to jump. As for simplicity of the game, it’s certainly up at a high mark. You simply just jump in, sign up under Facebook or just click one button, and you’re in to a tutorial competition! There are millions of users, so you can expect to get prompt ratings by lots of people. However, not everything is perfect, and I need to address some disadvantages that the creators of “Covet Fashion” need to pick up on.
To start off, the one-hour wait time is extremely annoying in competitions. Basically, you sign up for a competition and then hop in and you have to wait one hour for a result. Considering the large amount of people playing this game, is one hour really necessary to get an accurate result? Why not half an hour? Do I have to really wait an hour just for $200?
Secondly, the ticket system is definitely annoying. Ticket regeneration is quite slow, and you are given a mere 75 to start off. To enter a competition, you must use 10-30 tickets (the usual is around 20 tickets). Basically, every few hours you can only enter three to four times, and to me, that’s just ridiculous. But wait! If you want more, you can buy tickets using diamonds that you buy for real life money. It’s obvious the creators of “Covet Fashion” is deliberately annoying its users into getting frustrated and buying diamonds for tickets, using the fun and addictive nature of the game as bait.
Thirdly, the UI slightly glitches. It looks great and works great (most of the time) and is realistic. Sometimes, you may crash out of the application, and when cycling through clothes (as mentioned before), it’s not that smooth. This is not a put-off for me, but it’s something the creators can fix for a higher rating in the App Store.
Finally, the advantage given to players who pay. Again, you can purchase diamonds for real money to get in game cash. To me, this is extremely annoying. There are lots of new people out there, and the people who buy the best looking dresses for the highest prices who spend the most money will be advantaged, and the new people will be put into the ground, and be extremely deterred from playing. The creators need to fix this biased system, and be fair to every player. The good looking dresses are deliberately made extremely high priced, to give the rich people the win and the new people to be forced to either buy or lose. Again, the fun and addictive nature of this game is bait. There’s simply no real skill involved.
Artwork: Covet Fashion gets a 10/10 for its artwork. It’s modern and extremely realistic. Well done to the creators for this aspect.
Music and SFX: Music cannot get a rating from me. It’s simply non-existent! However, if I had to rate, I’d give this part a 0/10, because the music builds the game.
Story & Originality: I’d give the story and originality a 5/10. Time and time again, pay-to-play games and fashion games involving dressing up a model and competing are very common in the market. “Covet Fashion” is certainly no exception to this. These games pop out in the market, each time making themselves better than each other, but when you boil it down, it’s all the same. There’s no real story behind “Covet Fashion”, except becoming the top fashion model of the game!
General Gameplay: As for the general gameplay, I’d give it a 6/10. It’s quite a simple game, simply dressing up characters and competing. For a crazed fashion fanatic, this game would be great and fun. It is certainly fun for me! However, as made in my last complaints about this game, the people who pay for this game essentially cheat, and the game cheats us out of our money, as well. The game is extremely biased to people who pay money, giving them the ability to buy in game money using diamonds (for real life money), and therefore they get a massive advantage. Additionally, the tickets are extremely annoying. You have to wait an extremely long time just to get a mere 15 tickets (a day), which is usually not even enough for one competition. But, you can always spend money on this game!
Addictiveness: This game gets a 7/10 for addictiveness. This game is certainly addicting. I found myself cycling through the clothes section for the best clothes for my model. Remember, the clothes are modeled after real American clothing brands. However, the games own mechanics prevent me from doing such a thing. I can only participate in about three competitions a day, and if you can’t compete, what’s the point? The in app purchases may be optional, but if you don’t buy, you technically can’t play. Even in competitions, you lose if you can’t pay up. You can buy real luxury clothes with the money you spend on this game! It’s really disappointing the developers had to ruin “Covet Fashion” this way.
Overall, “Covet Fashion” gets a 5/10 from me.
