If you ever wanted to be a contract killer, taking out your target in the way you desire, guns blazing or silently, then Contract Killer 2 is just the game for you. This action and feature packed shoot-and-cover game has everything you need, from the wide variety of weapons and equipment, to tons of contracts you need to complete to take down your targets. This game has been developed and successfully released by game developer Glu, and has been downloaded over ten million times with a rating of 4.3 out of 5 on Google Play Store and a 4 star rating on iOS App Store.
You start the game with a small tutorial where you learn how to move your character, and how to shoot your enemies of course. Your goal is to eliminate everyone standing in your way so that you can get to your target and take him or her down. After you finish the tutorial, you can customize your equipment and purchase better weapons and armor. In Contract Killer 2, you can pick up different kinds of contracts, and the better you perform in them, the better your rewards will be. It’s all up to you, how you want to get to your target. If you like to shoot enemies rapidly, you can use an assault rifle, if you like to shoot your enemies from a distance, you can use a sniper rifle but if you like to be a silent assassin, you can also creep up to your enemies and use melee attacks or knives to take them down silently.
Each contract has its own target and objectives, and of course its own time limit. Some contracts are called Assault Contracts and others are called Sniper Contracts. You can judge by the contract description, which weapons are better suited to use for those specific contracts. For instance, it would be better if you would use a sniper rifle in a Sniper Contract. What you need to is, take down your target before the timer runs out.
You will be rewarded with cash stacks and experience points at the end of every successful contract, which you can then use to purchase new weapons and equipment and upgrade the ones you already own. Usually it is better to not spend any cash to upgrade your lower tier weapons but instead save them up to be able to purchase much more powerful weapons later on in the game. Once you gain enough experience points, you will level up which unlocks new contracts, locations, weapons and other useful items.
You can also earn some free Glu Credits by login in with your Facebook. If you want, you can invite your friends to play Contract Killer 2 as well, so that you can see who the better assassin between you all is. There is no multiplayer mode in Contract Killer 2, so other than comparing yourself with your friends, there is nothing else to do.
Contract Killer 2 In-game store
In Contract Killer 2, there are two types of currencies which you can use to purchase items with in the in-game store. The basic currency is called cash and is easy to earn by completing levels and the premium currency is called Glu Credits, which is very hard to earn. You can use both of these currencies to purchase new weapons and armor in the in-game store or to upgrade the weapons you already own.
The prices for cash stacks vary from $4,99 for the smallest stack of 5000 cash up till $99,99 for the largest stack of 260.000 cash. The prices for Glu Credits vary from $4,99 for the smallest stack of 100 Glu Credits up till $99,99 for the largest stack of 5200 Glu Credits. There are two ways to earn free Glu Credits. The first way to do this is by completing offers on Tapjoy. Offers usually mean that you need to either fill in a survey or download and play another game to receive the amount of Glu Credits that are promised to you. The second way is by inviting your friends to play Contract Killer 2, and by doing this, you will receive a few Glu Credits.
There are seven categories in total in the in-game store where you can spend both currencies. You can purchase sniper weapons, assault weapons and melee weapons which all speak for themselves. There is an equipment category where you can purchase things such as throwing knives, flashbangs and med kits. There is also a body armor category where you can purchase different kinds of Kevlar armor that will protect you from enemy fire. There is also a Featured category where you can purchase whole kits consisting of weapons, armor and equipment. These kits are pretty expensive and you can only purchase them with Glu Credits.
Contract Killer 2 is a very fun action adventure first-person shooter game, but in the game you will need a lot of credits and cash in order to get all the needed items and upgrades. You can get the credits and cash through the app store, but this costs real money, and this is something that gets expensive in just a few in-game purchases.

I clicked on the download button, which than directed me to another download website. This download website looked professionally designed, clean and it even had instructions how to download to file. Under these instructions, there was also a table that showed all these different anti-virus program scanners that supposedly scanned the cheat tool and shows that there are no viruses found. Of course these scanners aren’t real, and are just there to make the people feel comfortable in download dodgy files off of this website.
Anyways, I went ahead and clicked on the download button, but before I could download the cheat tool, I needed to fill in a survey. These surveys are there so that both the cheat tool offering website and the download website can generate an income for themselves. After I completed the survey, my download started and I tried to start the cheat tool, but it didn’t even want to start up. Most if not all of the cheat tools or hack tools are fake or even worse, they are viruses, so instead of looking for cheats for Contract Killer 2, I will give you some useful tips and tricks that can help you with your gameplay.
There will be times where you will need more powerful weapons or armor to make it easier for yourself to complete a certain level. These higher tier weapons can cost a pretty penny, and upgrading them also costs a lot of cash. The easiest way to earn some cash is by completing challenges. These usually reward you with a nice amount of cash and also experience points to unlock higher tier weapons.
Once you are playing a level, you need to pay attention to two things. You need to know when to hide behind cover because of the fact that when your character takes too much damage, he will die and you will need to restart the level all the way from the beginning. The second thing you need to pay attention to is the in-game clock. You only have a specific amount of time to complete a level, and if you do not make it, you will need to restart the level as well.
It is very important to regularly upgrade your weapons and equipment. When your gear is underpowered, you will most likely not be able to progress in the game. Your enemies will simply always take you down very easily. You should also save up some Glu Credits to purchase a better body armor. Body armor gives you a nice resistance bonus, so enemies will have a harder time shooting you down. In other words, you can take more hits before you die.
I liked the fact that Contract Killer 2 had a bit of a backstory at the beginning of the game, so you kind of know what you are dealing with and what your goals are in the game. It’s also nice that the game started with a small tutorial that shows you how to play the game. There are a lot of features in Contract Killer 2, but the game mechanics feel familiar. You play as a contract killer (of course) and you take on contracts or challenges and kill everyone who steps in your way. I always enjoy a game where the player gets more freedom to do what they want.
There are a lot of weapons and equipment, which can also be customized and upgraded. The fact that the game also has no time limits or lives, gives it a nice touch. This way, gamers can play this game as little or as much as they want without having to wait for an energy bar to replenish. The gameplay becomes very straightforward but still fun to play because of all the different items you can try out on your enemies.
Unfortunately there were also a few negative aspects about Contract Killer 2. For starters there are pop-up ads, which show up right when you are about to tap on the screen. These are very obstructive and annoying in my opinion, but they also makes it feel like that the developers just want to trick people to tap on those ads on accident so they can generate an income. I don’t mind when developers of free-to-play games implement advertisements into their games, but they should always try to put them in places that obstruct the players the least.
Another negative aspect which I have experienced during my Contract Killer 2 gameplay is that higher tier weapons and equipment cost a lot of Glu Credits, which you cannot earn unless you complete a ton of offers or you spend a lot of money purchasing them. This makes the game feel like a cash grab because it is difficult or down right impossible to progress through the game when the enemies keep getting harder but you are not able to purchase better weapons if you do not want to spend real money on Contract Killer 2. Of course you could just spend time to complete some offers and get free Glu Credits, but these offers often do not reward you with the amount of credits they promise. The developers should really look into this.
Artwork: I give Contract Killer 2 an 8/10 for its artwork. The graphics and animations in Contract Killer 2 are actually pretty decent, especially for a mobile game. I could tell that the developers spend quite a while to draw the details in the game characters and environment. I also really liked the fact that the weapons in Contract Killer 2 were pretty detailed and looked well designed. One thing which I didn’t really like is the fact that you cannot shoot and break obstacles in Contract Killer. There are some nice explosion effects though, for instance with a bazooka/rocket launcher and with grenades. The fact that the characters didn’t just stand still, but actually moved around and shoot you is also a very nice touch of detail in this game.
Music & SFX: I give Contract Killer 2 a 6/10 for its music and SFX. The game had some pretty decent sound effects, for instance the SFX of gunfire and explosives but one thing really annoyed me, which is that the voice acting really didn’t match the gameplay scenes at all. There was no real power or emotion behind the voices, for example there was a scene where you would get shot at by a guy with a rocket launcher, and while this is pretty hectic, the voice was just plain and said something like “What was that? I didn’t know the Triad hired mercenaries.” The developers might as well have just put in text bubbles instead of voice acting, which would have been better anyways.
Story & Originality: I give Contract Killer 2 a 7/10 for its story and originality. There are probably dozens and dozens of shoot-and-cover games out on the app stores so Contract Killer 2 is not very original. I do cut the game a bit of slack because of the fact that there is a story at the beginning of the game that shows you what your goal is and what the game is about. The game also had a lot of different guns and upgrades you could select, which is pretty nice because this adds diversity in gameplay. If you like to just rain bullets on your enemies, you can play with a SMG, but if you like to be a silent assassin, you can use silencers and take your enemies out.
General Gameplay: I give Contract Killer 2 a 7/10 for general gameplay. At the beginning of the game, you will go through a small tutorial which teaches you the basic movements and controls. In this tutorial you will also learn a bit about your character and what your goals are. After you have played a few levers, the game becomes pretty straightforward but still remains fun to play nonetheless. Contract Killer 2 consists of a two game modes but the main one is called Contracts, where you need complete contracts which all have different objectives. The second game mode is called Challenges, where you have to complete different kinds of challenges to earn cash rewards. All in all, the gameplay is smooth and it is very clear what you have to do right from the start.
Addictiveness: I give Contract Killer 2 an 8/10 for addictiveness. If you like shoot-and-cover games and like to customize weapons, then I could imagine that Contract Killer 2 is just the game for you. I like the fact that the game has no live or time limits which limits the players game time, so you can just start up the game and play as your hear desires. There are also a lot weapons you can unlock and play with, which just adds to the overall addictiveness of the game.
All things considered, I give Contract Killer 2 a 7/10.
