After every ride you will need to get your weapon repair for few mentioned coins. Killing zombies will give you score, which also depends upon your weapon. There is also a combo system which gives you additional score. These combos indicates how many zombies you have killed without taking a hit. You will face several types of zombies, there will be ones running towards you, few running away from you, then there are the huge and scary ones, which will try to smash you down as soon as you will give them a chance.

There are tasks for every ride, completing these tasks will give you gold coins and crystals as rewards. These tasks are of different types, game will notify you which one you have got this time, before you will begin your journey and if you want to check the task again you can do it from pause menu. The tasks includes the likes of collecting a specific number of gold coins, killing a designated number of zombies or achieving a targeted score. You will face different obstacles like narrow streets, road blockades and rolling barrels to slow you down. There are also jump tracks, spending your time in air gives your score a boost. You will find gold coins and different Powerups on your way. Powerups also looks like coins but with different symbols and lighting around them. As you might have seen in games like Temple Run and Subway Surfers that you can upgrade powerups to increase their timings but this is not the case in Death Moto 2.

Wrench Symbol – If you are running low on hp then you should be looking for powerups with a symbol of wrench on them. As wrench is something which a mechanic uses to repair cars and bikes. Picking up these powerups will give you and your bike extra life to survive.

Nitrous Symbol – The nitrous booster almost doubles up the speed of your bike and although nitrous recharges itself, still you can collect these powerups to refill your nitrous bar every time within no time.

Rocket Launcher symbol – Collecting Powerups with this symbol on them, will temporarily switch your weapon with a rocket launcher with limited rocket to shoot. Rocket launcher, like other weapons, too works automatically. The best thing about it is that you don’t have to get into a proximity to kill zombies.

S Symbol – S stands for shield over here. Collecting these powerups does two things. Firstly for a time being you will have protective shield all over you so that no one can hurt you. Secondly for the same time it gives you and your bike a sudden speed boost, destroying and killing whatever comes in your path.

In the main menu you will see the key features of the game. In the middle of the screen there is your current bike. You can swipe in either direction to check other options that you have. There are a total of six bikes in this game, first one is available for free of cost while rest of the five needs to be purchased before you can drive them down through hell. In Death Moto 2, there are two types of in-game currencies. There are gold coins and crystals, gold coins are relatively easy to have access to, while crystals are rare. The price of bikes starts from five thousand gold coins, for the first bike, and goes till one thousand crystals for the last one. The difference between bikes lies in the speed, hp and Nitro Booster.

You will see three types of counters in the game, two of them are for gold coins and crystals that you own and the third one is for the number of zombies that you have killed. Normally the games would include level, or missions completed but here number of zombie deaths counts as a check to unlock items. Before you can start with your tour of the dead world you will be asked for two things. The first one will be to choose your weapon and the second one to try your luck at slot machine. There are three different categories of weapons. Every category features four weapons. The rating for weapons includes the power, which basically is the reach, and score, which you get after killing zombies. First category is curved swords, which are the least strong of all three categories. Out of four swords, you will have access to the first one for free. The price of remaining three starts from twelve hundred gold coins and dies out at seven thousand gold coins. Unlike bike, you have to unlock weapons first before you can purchase them (except the ones which costs Crystals). To unlock the first weapon of this category you have to kill three hundred zombies while for the last one you need to kill two thousand.

The second category too is of swords but these are stronger as compared to previous ones. First three swords will need to be unlocked and are purchased with gold coins. The last sword can only be purchased with crystals. The price range of this category starts from fifteen hundred and max out at twenty thousand gold coins and one hundred eighty crystals. Zombie deaths required ranges from four hundred to eight thousand deaths.

The last category is of chains, these are the most powerful weapons, especially because of their range/power. Only the first of four can be purchased using coins, for the rest three you will need crystals. The only purchasable-with-coin weapons requires twelve thousand gold coins and seven thousand zombie kills, while the rest three can only be purchased with crystal and ranges from two hundred fifty to four hundred fifty.

Once you pass the weapon selection section, you will have option to spin a slot machine for two hundred gold coins. Slot machine is a nice addition, it features different things and even gives you a chance to try out few locked goodies for a single ride. The slot machine can give you any of the following:

Hp x3 – It gives you 3 extra bars of hp, so that you don’t go down early.

Chain – It allows you to use chain instead of your normal weapon for a single ride.

Rocket x7 – This means you will have seven automated rockets to kill any type of zombies, seven confirmed kills.

1500 gold coins – Adds fifteen hundred gold coins to your bank instantly.

1000 gold coins – Adds one thousand gold coins to your coin balance.

500 gold coins – Gives you five hundred gold coins as opposed to your original investment of two hundred gold coins.

Bike – It will give a new bike for a single ride, so that you can taste the difference you can get by changing bike.

Zombie x2 – Increases effective zombie kills by a factor of two.

Coin x8 – Consider yourself lucky if you get this one, as it increases the effective value of coins by a factor of eight, which mean a single gold coin collected by you will be counted as eight gold coins.

Coin x4 – Getting this means your collected coins will be multiplied by four.

10 crystals – Ten crystals which are rare and tough to get will be added in your crystal bank.

Sword – it will give you a taste of higher level sword for a single ride.

The latest version of Death Moto 2 is 1.1.3. The operating system requirements of this game is iOS 6.0 if you are an iPhone user and android 2.3 (gingerbread) minimum for android users. So if we look on the paper this game should work on millions of devices on there in the market, but this game has compatibility issues. While writing this review I faced frequent shutdowns and not responding errors. The reviews given by users on different stores also mention compatibility issue and this game has approximate rating of three and half stars on almost every store.

This game is free to download and play but in app purchases are available to assist you. Gathering coins is still easy but to unlock few attractive high-end items you will need crystals and there is a scarcity of that in Death Moto 2. So, if you cannot wait until you collect crystals and coins and you want to purchase few things which are out of your reach then you can always go into game’s shop. It can be accessed in the main menu by pressing a cart icon on the right top. Here you can use your real currency to purchase crystal and later on, if you want to, you can use convert these purchased crystals into gold coins. There are four different packages available for crystals and two packages for gold coins. For 0.99$ of your real currency you can get one hundred crystals, for 1.65$ you will receive two hundred twenty crystals, four hundred eighty crystals will set you back by 4.13$, while the last and biggest package will give you one thousand forty crystals for 8.25$. Now you can use these crystals to get coins. One hundred crystals will get you twenty thousand gold coins, which basically means you can get twenty thousand gold coins for 0.99$. The last option will fill up your coins bank by giving you massive ninety thousand gold coins for equally expensive four hundred crystals.

There is an automated coin generator, which will give you five hundred coins every hour. You can collect these from the main dashboard. You can also share this game on different social sites, facebook, twitter, google+, and sharing on each site will give you two hundred gold coins.

Death Moto 2 Cheats and Tricks

There aren’t any proper cheat codes available for it like there used to be for games like Grand Theft Auto. But don’t get disappointed, there are few tricks and methods to help you only if you don’t have issues with illegal methods which aren’t recommended.
There is modified or we can say cracked version of this game available, all you have to do is google it. You will find it easily and downloading won’t not an issue. To install modified version, you have to remove the previous version first. Installing modified version will give you access to unlimited gold coins and crystals, but you still have to unlock items first before spending your hard earned money. Only those items needs to be unlocked which can be purchased with gold coins while crystal ones doesn’t require unlocking. One other benefit of modified version is that you don’t have to wait and deal with loads of annoying ads.

If you don’t like using this modified versions of game, another trick to get gold coins is to confuse the automated coins generator. This automated coins generator is time based and after every hour it gives you coin. You can trick it to give you coins without waiting. To do that, go into your device’s settings, open up ‘time and Date’ settings, and advance the time of your device by an hour, after that open your game, collect the coins and repeat this procedure all the times you want.

There is another tip and it is for slot machine. Normally slot machine only allows you to spin it once but you can spin all the times you want and everything that you win will be effective in the upcoming tour of hell. To achieve this, let the slot machine stabilize itself after the first spin, then press and visit store, now press the back button and you will be good to do it again.

Death Moto 2 In-Depth Review

This give too, although a lot better than the previous edition, is a mixture of pros and cons. The user interface was just average and not self-explanatory, without guide lines it took time to understand it. That’s not all, any user will initially will be confused with all the complexity the game holds. It took me more than just couple of rides to notice how the task system works or to notice that there was a slot machine rather than a button simply asking you to pay for additional health which it looked like!!! Again there is no explanation of gameplay, initially I made a goof of myself, as i was trying to kill the zombies buy riding my bike over them, which was totally wrong.

The gameplay too is average, there are just recurring tasks which gives you few goodies, and the track remains the same which gets boring as your played time increases. The developers could have added different tracks to keep the user attracted. There is no information on the background of this rider, why the world faced apocalypse? Why is he the only one alive? He’s just riding and killing, which overall leaves the game logic less. The inclusion of different weapons and bikes does some justice to the users by giving them something to earn in this game. The graphics of Death Moto 2 are worth mentioning, that doesn’t mean that they are top-notch but they are just above the category average. Bikes’ view rotating option in the main menu was a nice addition to the game, it allows you to see the bike from different angles. Although map is evenly detailed, you will see new portion of the map loading as you travel down the road, which is not impressive. The map does follow up the theme of the game and gives you feeling of living in post apocalypse world. Wind lines or motion blur lines appears across the rider as bike catches up speed.

The sound effects of Death Moto 2 are good. You will hear the zombies roaring as you get close to them. The soundtrack is a mixture of metal and pop, which pushes you to ride with anger and kill those ill creatures but it will feel repetitive as it’s a short one. Sound of engine changes as you use nitro or when you collide with objects which is also worth writing about. The coin collection sound reminds me of Sonic’s ring collection sound.

Overall the game is normal, but it could have been a lot better. By giving guidelines, adding new soundtracks and maps Death Moto 2 could have made to the list of top bike riding games. Death Moto 2 forces user to spend real time money as the most attractive items are unlocked only by crystals and getting them is tough. Game’s code is buggy, there are frequent shutdowns and sometime it takes you to main menu when you press restart button from the pause menu. With all these issues, at least for me, this game is not addictive.

Overall Ratings

Artwork: I’ll give Death Moto 2 7/10 here. They tried good to make sure that everything matches the theme, which certainlys does. Graphics and sound is only impressive material of this game. Graphics will, initially, make you forget the loopholes of this game but the gameplay ruins it.

Music and SFX: I’ll again give Death Moto 2 7/10 for the sound effects it has. Sounds perfectly adds to the feeling of you being in a road rash, which makes the game applaudable. But the repetition of soundtrack will destroy this image of SFX as you play it for few hours. The developers needs to add more soundtracks.

Story & Originality: Death Moto 2 gets 6.5/10 here from me. The apocalypse zombies and biochemical threats is just another overly-used-off-the-shelf story. But merging this with bike riding was something new. Lack of background story and poor execution left a lot to be imagined.

General Gameplay: I’ll give this game 5.5/10 here. Gameplay isn’t difficult once you get hold of it, control are decent but we would have loved totally touch based controls more. The game gets repetitive with time which literally makes it boring. Why don’t developer gives us new maps via updates?

Addictiveness: I’ll give Death Moto 2 4/10 here. This game is not at all addictive, as I have mentioned several times in this review that gameplay is poor, lack of new tasks, or tracks, with too much ads and developer continuously forcing you to use in app purchase, I’m not one of those who will keep this game on their device.
Overall Death Moto 2 scores 6/10. They could have made Death Moto 2 a new category favorite but weak execution makes it just another category average.
