The Flintstones: Bring Back Bedrock Cheats & Hack for Gold, Clams & Stones

Imagine playing a city builder game with the theme of the Flintstones, now doesn’t that sound fun to play? The Flintstones: Bedrock starts with beloved Fred, who is working at the rock plant, but all of a sudden there is a meteor shower that destroys the whole city. Wilma decides to leave you and go with a strange man because it is not safe anymore. In The Flintstones: Bedrock, you need to rebuild your home in order to get Wilma and Pebbles back. The game has been developed and successfully released by game developer Ludia Inc. The Flintstones: Bedrock has been downloaded over one million times with a rating of 3.7 out of 5 on Google Play Store and a 4 out of 5 star rating on iOS App Store.

The gameplay of The Flintstones: Bedrock starts off with a small cut scene where you get to see the story behind the gameplay. There is a big meteor shower, which destroys many buildings in Bedrock and even your house. Everyone is pretty scared and Wilma insists on leaving with a strange man because she thinks it is no longer safe in Bedrock. She even takes Pebbles with her, which makes Fred really sad, so he decides to rebuild his house and eventually Bedrock so he can get his wife and child back.

After the cut scene ends, you will play as Fred and start rebuilding your home. The way that The Flintstones: Bedrock works is that you need to take on missions by tapping on the thought balloons. The thought balloons are hovering above the characters, and by tapping on them, you will see Fred talking, telling you what you need to do next. You start off by building the basic necessities of your home such as a bed and a kitchen. However, you cannot just construct whatever you want because every object requires either Clams, Gold or Stones to be build.

Gold, Clams and Stones could be seen as the currencies of The Flintstones: Bedrock. Clams is like the in-game money, and you can use it to purchase items with. You will need Stones when you are constructing buildings or objects for in the buildings and Gold is the premium currency of the game. With Gold you can purchase specialty items and objects in the in-game shop that are much better than the regular objects.
Constructing objects and taking a lot of actions in The Flintstones: Bedrock requires a certain amount of time. When you progress through the game, the waiting times will be longer because the objects you construct and the actions that you take are more complex. You can however use the premium Gold to instantly complete your actions and construct objects.

Whenever you complete an action, you will receive experience points and usually either Clams or Stones. By collecting enough experience points, you will level up, which unlocks more features in the game and allows you to construct more objects/purchase more items. Your goal in The Flintstones: Bedrock is to rebuild your home and the city of Bedrock, which makes Wilma, Pebbles and your friends return home.

The Flintstones: Bedrock In-game store

There are three very important items in The Flintstones: Bedrock. To be able to construct objects around your house, you will need Stones, which are easy to obtain by playing the game and going to your work. There are Clams, which is the basic currency of the game and also easily obtainable by playing the game and completing certain actions. There is also a premium currency called Gold, and is very difficult to obtain by playing the game.

Stones are the building blocks of The Flintstones: Bedrock. You will need stones for every action that you take, especially when you want to construct objects that are not purchasable in the in-game shop. You can use Clams to purchase different types of objects and items in the in-game shop, which are more often as a decoration instead of having a real function. There are also many objects and items which are rare and only purchasable with Gold.

You can purchase premium Gold with real money in the in-game store. The price for Gold starts at $1,99 for the smallest amount of 200 Gold and goes up till $49,99 for the largest amount of 6000 Gold. In turn, you can use your Gold to purchase Stones and Clams. The price for Clams starts at 10 Gold for the smallest amount of 400 Clams and goes up till 2500 Gold for the largest amount of 200.000 Clams. The price for Stones varies from 10 Gold for the smallest amount of 140 Stones and goes up till 2500 Gold for the largest amount of 70.000 Stones.

You can also get Gold for free by connecting with your Facebook account, which will reward you with 50 Gold instantly. After you have done that, you can watch advertisement videos for several Gold per video or you can complete offers to get a larger amount of Gold. The offers usually entail that you have to download and try other games, and when you successfully have done that, you will be rewarded with some Gold.

The Flintstones: Bedrock Gameplay Tips and Tricks

Clams is the basic currency in The Flintstones: Bedrock and is very important because you need a lot of clams to purchase items and objects in the in-game store. To be able to obtain clams in a fast pace, you should never allow your characters to idle around. Let them perform actions, such as clearing meteor rocks and do this as often as possible. It is important to choose the shortest possible actions because you will be able to collect a lot of clams and experience points that way. When you are about to go offline, you should let your characters perform the longest possible action, because that way, when you log back into the game, you will earn a lot of clams and experience points.

It is also very important to complete quests in The Flintstones: Bedrock. Quests usually reward you with a lot of items but also clams and stones. Completing quests will progress you through the game and allow you to unlock more characters, so you can perform more actions at the same time. This way, you can repeat the first piece of advice I gave you, and make more clams than ever before. You can also recruit more workers when you are at your work place, which means that you will automatically get more clams when you are go off to work.

The Flintstones: Bedrock Review

When I first started playing The Flintstones: Bedrock I did not really know what to expect of the gameplay. It was nice to see that the developers did a bang up job with the graphics and giving the gameplay a familiar feeling. It is nice to see the once beloved cartoon characters back in a mobile game. The gameplay starts with a nicely build tutorial, showing you how to properly play the game. I think it is a nice idea to have a tutorial in a city builder game, because a lot of casual players might not know how to play the game, get confused and stop playing the game altogether.

After the tutorial ends, the gameplay becomes pretty straightforward, but I still had a lot of fun because of the fact that there are a ton of missions you can complete. Your goal is to get your wife, child and your friends back to the city of Bedrock, and you can do this by rebuilding everything. Another aspect I really liked about The Flintstones: Bedrock is the fact that you are not bound to play on a single place. You can also go to work and move around Bedrock, build shopping malls and other buildings around your house. This makes the game more enjoyable because you are not stuck on one place only.

Unfortunately, there were also several negative aspects about The Flintstones: Bedrock. The first negative aspect about The Flintstones: Bedrock is the fact that the cut scene and the story behind the game is really depressing in my opinion. The Flintstones is supposed to be a children’s cartoon, but here they are talking about leaving each other and not coming back. Wilma takes Pebbles and leaves with a man, who is a stranger. This does not make sense at all and really does not fit the overall cartoon theme of The Flintstones that we all got to know from watching them on the television. The developers of The Flintstones: Bedrock could have come up with a million other scenarios and the gameplay would still have made sense, but instead they took a very dark route and I believe they made a big mistake in doing so.

The second negative aspect that I would like to mention, is the fact that there are very long waiting times, especially during late-game stages of the gameplay. This really slows the pace of the gameplay and could be a huge turn off for a lot of players. Of course, there is a way to speed things a long, which is by spending premium Gold to instantly complete actions and construct objects. Gold is the premium currency of the game and is only obtainable by purchasing them with real money or watching advertisement videos/completing offers. The problem with this is the fact that not everyone can afford to spend money on a free-to-play game and many offers usually do not pay out at all. The system has a lot of glitches and the developers should reward their loyal players instead of punishing them.

The Flintstones: Bedrock Ratings

Artwork: I give The Flintstones: Bedrock an 8/10 for its artwork. The graphics of The Flintstones: Bedrock are pretty decent, especially considering that the game is on mobile platforms. It is similar to the graphics of FarmVille, for example. I like the fact that the developers were able to make the gameplay feel like you were in the actual cartoon, which many children have watched back in the 90’s. There are a lot of animations implemented in the game and the characters all have idle movements, which makes the game feel livelier and more entertaining. The developers did a very good job in balancing both the graphics and the animations, making them fit perfectly together.

Music & SFX: I give The Flintstones: Bedrock a 7/10 for its music and SFX. There are several soundtracks and a lot of sound effects in The Flintstones: Bedrock, but for some reason I couldn’t get that familiar feeling which I had with the graphics of the game. I had hoped that the developers would use soundtracks that also played in the cartoon version, or at least something very similar to them. However, there were a lot of sound effects, which gave the gameplay a fresh feeling and will make sure that the players will not get bored by the gameplay.

Story & Originality: I give The Flintstones: Bedrock a 6/10 for its story and originality. There are a ton of city builder games out on the app stores, and in my opinion this game is just another one of them. The developers did implement the whole “Flintstones” theme pretty nicely into the game, making it a bit more original than the others. There is a story at the beginning of the gameplay, which is pretty disturbing if you would ask me. The developers should have made it a happy story instead of the depressing story that it is right now. The Flintstones is supposed to be a children’s’ cartoon, yet the story is filled with adult stuff such as Wilma leaving Fred with a stranger, and taking Pebbles with her.

General Gameplay: I give The Flintstones: Bedrock a 7/10 for general gameplay. The gameplay of The Flintstones: Bedrock starts off with a cut scene, explaining the story and goals of the game. After that, there is a small tutorial, teaching you how to properly play the game, how to construct objects, how to go to work and purchase items in the in-game store. After the tutorial ends, the gameplay becomes pretty straightforward, but still entertaining to play due to the fact that there are a lot of missions and objects which you can explore and complete. The user interface is nice and fits the Flintstones’ theme and the controls are smooth and responsive.

Addictiveness: I give The Flintstones: Bedrock a 7/10 for addictiveness. Fortunately, the developers of The Flintstones: Bedrock have not implemented any energy bars or lives into the gameplay, which means that you have no limitations as to how long you want to play the game. However, every action that you take in the game has a waiting time, which is not a big problem at the beginning of the gameplay, but the waiting times get significantly longer, the more you progress through the game. This means that, after you have set all of your characters to work, you will need to wait a while. You can of course use Gold to instantly complete actions and construct objects, but not everyone can afford to purchase Gold with real money.

All things considered, I give The Flintstones: Bedrock a 7/10.
