Probably the best way to use your power ups is to throw out a Meat Lure, and then when all the zombies are gathered around the meat, Throw a bomb to kill them all.

Also be careful when you tap, always watch out for a human because they will end your game instantly. When possible tap all the zombie dogs first, since they speed up and zig-zag if you leave them till later it might be too late to get them before they leave the screen.

Finally always remember that when a huge wave of zombies shows up the lightning will kill them all so you don’t strain yourself trying to tap all of them.

Zombie Smasher is a great game! It features over 60 levels of intense zombie smashing action. There are over 7 types of zombies each with their own unique challenges. These Zombies include the basic zombie, dog zombie, oil worker zombie, ghost zombie, baby zombie and fat boss zombies. These zombie types are all unique and challenging. For instance the Dog Zombies will randomly speed up and zig-zag across the screen when you try to click them. The oil worker zombie is immune to being smashed when he is burrowed underground. For such a repetitive game it captivates your interest by changing things up at just the right intervals. Think you have got the current wave of zombies figured out? Well BAM, Zombie Smasher throws a new zombie type at you.

The currency in Zombie Smasher is brains. You purchase several special attacks with those brains. There are Meat Lures, Lightning, and Bombs, available for sale. Meat Lures cost 3 brains and will catch zombies attention forcing them to move towards the Lure for 3 seconds. Lightning costs 10 brains and creates a line of lightning across the screen that kills all zombies that touch it, this line lasts for approximately 5 seconds. Finally Bombs cost you 15 brains and will kill all zombies within a certain radius of the bomb. You may purchase or earn brains. You can start by purchasing brains from $1.99 for 15 brains, all the way up to $99.99 for 808 brains. The best part about this game is that the brains are also earned as you progress through the levels. Thereby eliminating the need to spend real money unless you want to. You will earn more brains by building up chains of taps on the zombies with no misses. The special attacks are all good and helpful but not necessary to progress through the levels. Advance far enough and you unlock new gameplay modes like endless survival mode where the point is to survive as long as possible.

Ratings

Artwork: I give Zombie Smasher a 8/10 for its artwork. The artwork is nicely done, and very detailed. The different types of zombies are quite funny.

Music & SFX: I award 8/10 for it’s music & SFX. The music is very cool and eery, and the SFX are fun to watch.

Story & Originality: I have to give this a 6/10. There’s not much story. Sure zombie games are everywhere now, but this one manages to stay fun without falling into the traps most of them do.

General Gameplay: I’m going to give a 8/10 for its gameplay. This game is super fun. I loved seeing the new types of zombies, and it was simple enough that I could play mindlessly.

Addictiveness: This game deserves a 10/10 for addictiveness. I played over and over again for hours without meaning too. It’s clever and rewards you for continuously moving forward.

Overall, I give Zombie Smasher an 8/10.
