Big Time Gangsta Cheats & Hack for Money, Credits & Experience

Big Time Gangsta is an action game developed by Glu, a company known for Racing Rivals, Dino Hunter and the popular Cooking Dash with its sequel. The game has a rating of 4.6 out of 5 on Google Play and 4 and a half stars on Apple’s App Store and it has been downloaded for about 10 million times on both platforms. It requires an Android version of at least 2.1 and for Apple devices iOS 3.0 or up.

In Big Time Gangsta you take the role of a gangster that did some jail time and surprisingly he’s up to no good after he gets out. You hire your old friends, you make new friends and you remember your enemies who you are. You also occupy territories that were stolen from you and you basically try to be the best gangster in the city. The game is violent and it is not suited for a younger audience even though they might enjoy it.

The game does not require a mandatory sign-up but an internet connection is necessary (provider or Wi Fi). If you link your account with Facebook, you will be able to invite and play with your friends and you will receive some prizes. The game promises that it would not post on your behalf. There are a few ads in Big Time Gangsta but fortunately you will encounter them on loading screens or in the menus.
Big Time Gangsta’s currency is called Green and can be obtained from completing missions and leveling-up. The premium resource of the game is called Cred and can be bought with real money or can be given to the player for free if he completes different tasks such as installing applications to their device, inviting friends to the game or watching videos. The price for Cred depends on the amount you buy and it can vary – 10 Cred Pack for $1.99 up to 900 Cred Pack for $99.99. You can also buy Green with real money – 10,000 Green for $1.99 up to 150,000 Green for $99.99.

Make sure to play the game every day to receive your Free Spin bonus. Also, don’t forget to collect the Tonic from the Lab (it reappears from 10 to 10 minutes) and the protection money (which can be taken on an hourly basis). In order to receive daily bonuses you need to link your Facebook account with the game.

Oscillate between your gangsters while they are reloading. By doing so you ensure continuous firing and that’s what you basically need.

At early levels, don’t send gangsters on long missions unless you want to take a break because you will not afford to hire more gangsters and you will don’t have anything else to do than waiting.

Don’t even try to compete in the Arena at low levels. Leave that matter to the big guys. Make sure you use health power-ups and have a consistent crew before you enter it.

Train your crew members when you are sleeping or not playing the game for a longer time. It takes a lot of but the bonuses will eventually add-up and will make a difference.

If you need Green or Tonic badly, you can exchange them at the Bank for Cred. Just search through the real money offers and you will eventually see the exchange option.

If you have friends that you think they will enjoy the game, tell them about Big Time Gangsta. If not, make sure you check Facebook because there are a lot of groups where people are looking for fellow virtual gangsters to join their crew. Assisting other players in game will indirectly help you in your own battles.

Unlock and buy weapons as soon as they are available and affordable because they will grant a great power boost for your crew. Also it’s important that you don’t forget to equip them after you bought them…I did and it was not pretty.

Big Time Gangsta Review

Big Time Gangsta is a game that I wanted to review for a while. There was always a hype around the game but not big enough to make it reach the top because it has some really strong contenders such as Contract Killer. It came to my attention recently and I find out that it is an average game.

What I like about Big Time Gangsta is that it feels consistent from the character point of view. You must take control of hospitals for faster healing; you must train your team in order for them to become more powerful; you must reach certain levels to unlock more characters and so on. The game does not offer you everything in the first minutes of playing like the majority of action games. I also like that the game is not a pay-to-win game and that you have the possibility of getting Cred without spending your real money. There is clearly an advantage for those that are investing in it but it is not game breaking. I also like that there are lot of weapons to choose from and that it really exists a balance between them.

There are a few things I don’t like about the game too. First of all, Big Time Gangsta promotes unintentionally gangs and gangsters and the thug concept – it is just a game but you never know who is playing it. Secondly, I think that the story is a cliché – 2 rival groups fighting for territory dominance and capturing everything in their way and no one seems to care? No police, no civilians, just gangsters and thugs everywhere – something is not adding up. Last but not least, I don’t really understand the combat system because all you do is switch between your characters while the others are reloading and tap on the screen to shoot faster. The idea is great but the implementation is bad – the developers should have worked more on this.

Overall, Big Time Gangsta can be an addictive game but there are certainly better options on the market so think twice before you download the game. If you decide to do so, give the game some time because, fortunately, later it gets better.

Ratings

Artwork: I give Big Time Gangsta 7 out of 10 for its artwork. The game was probably looking great a few years ago but it’s not the case anymore and even though in Action games the artwork is not the most important feature it is still necessary. I like the city design and the overall look of the environment but that are the only things nice-looking in the game. There are very few animations and they look old and unnatural with maybe the exception of gun fires. The character designed is neither cartooned nor realistic – it is an unfortunate combination that looks rather bad than interesting. I have not encountered any special effects but I guess that, if they really exist, they are not really that special or out of the ordinary.

Music & SFX: The game gets 7 out of 10 at this segment. I think that the music is funny because it is very dramatic and makes you feel like you are taking part to an Oscar film rather than a gangster-themed game. The sound effects are not the best I’ve ever heard but they’re above average. The developers tried their best with the music of Big Time Gangsta and I think that they did a good job because it matches its theme and it is more about than just one song placed on repeat.

Story/Originality: Big Time Gangsta receives 7 out of 10 for its story and originality. As I mentioned before, I am not really a fan of gangster mobile games not only because they may give the wrong message but because it is hard to create a story that would be at the same time complex and not boring. However, Big Time Gangsta has a decent story and by comparison with other action games, in this one you know who you are, why are you taking that decisions and what is your purpose and I respect that. In terms of originality I can’t say that this is the first time I play a game with this theme and it will certainly not be the last. It is true that Big Time Gangsta looks authentic but it is far from being an original one.

General Gameplay: I give the game 6 out of 10 for the gameplay. Even though Big Time Gangsta doesn’t have great hardware requirements it freezes and crashes a lot (I tested on 2 devices, same result). The gameplay itself is intuitive and you get a tutorial and the start of the game but everything seems out of the place. There are no real strategies and the combat system is boring because all you do is violently touching your device for more speed and nothing more. The game just does not feel like an action one.

Addictiveness: Big Time Gangsta receives 6 out of 10 for its addictiveness. The game implementations don’t make it addictive at all. Don’t get me wrong, Big Time Gangsta can be fun and there are some extra elements, besides the main story that were added to freshen up the game. Unfortunately, these elements are not really helping it at all. When you are out of combat because your crew is dead or they are training there isn’t much to do. You can collect money from occupied buildings and there are some worthy freebies available that makes the player want to come back to the game but everything in Big Time Gangsta feels passive. You can’t do anything at all besides fighting and because it can’t happen continuously, a great amount of players will get bored. One solution would be, in my opinion, the implementation of a real multiplayer combat and the possibility of doing heists with your friends because at the moment your friends and allies only help you indirectly.

I give Big Time Gangsta a rating of 6.5 out of 10. The game is looking decent from time to time but overall is not really good.
