Another very positive aspect in Dumb Ways to Die 2 is the fact that there are different events on the world map.

Each event has a different theme, and also a different set of mini-games. It is nice to see so many different mini-games, which all have a different success or failure cut scene. It is nice to see that the developers have put a lot of thought into the graphics of the game, but also in the soundtracks and sound effects. In my opinion, they combined both perfectly and made a very balanced game.

Even though Dumb Ways to Die 2 is a very nice game to play, there are also several very negative aspects about it. I like the fact that the soundtrack changes, depending on which mini-game you are currently playing. Next to that, there are a lot of sound effects, from main menu SFX to your character failing and dying SFX. Both the soundtracks and sound effects are easy on the ears and do not bother you while you are playing the game. This is very important, because in order to play Dumb Ways to Die 2, you will have to focus a lot and be quick.

Story & Originality: I give Dumb Ways to Die 2 an 8/10 for its story and originality. I have played several games before, on handheld consoles, which are similar to the gameplay of Dumb Ways to Die 2. Of course, there is also a prequel to the game, but other than that, the game is very original in my books. I have never seen the type of graphics in a mobile game, as I have seen them in Dumb Ways to Die 2. There are several different events to pick from, which all have different themes and mini-games. This makes the game very original in my book. There is no real backstory in the game, but a game like Dumb Ways to Die 2 does not really need one.

General Gameplay: I give Dumb Ways to Die 2 a 7/10 for general gameplay. The gameplay in Dumb Ways to Die 2 does not start with a tutorial, but I feel like it does not need one. By playing the game for a while, you will quickly understand its goals and how to achieve them. What is very unfortunate is the fact that the game has so many annoying and obstructive video advertisements implemented in it. This ruins the general gameplay for me, because of the fact that they pop-up randomly, and you cannot even skip them. Luckily, the controls are very smooth and responsive, and the user interface is designed according to the graphics of the game. This makes it easy to navigate through the menus and the world map, which is very nice.

Addictiveness: I give Dumb Ways to Die 2 a 7/10 for addictiveness. It is very irritating to see that the developers of Dumb Ways to Die 2 have implemented a limitation into the game, which blocks you from playing in the Dumbest of the Dumb arena, unless you have tokens. Of course, you can either get them by purchasing them or by watching free advertisement videos, but it is still very annoying that you cannot simply enjoy the full game without limitations. The fact that there are a lot of random video advertisements popping up, which you cannot skip, also brings the addictiveness of Dumb Ways to Die 2 down. In my opinion, Dumb Ways to Die 2 is a very nice game, but it feels like the developers are pushing hard, to make some money out of it.
