Spring Traps (Defensive Building)

• Spring Traps are capable of bouncing any troops that may step across them. These traps don’t have the ability to get upgraded, though. It’s best to place a bunch of these near your Town Hall. That way, invading troops that get past your wall will get caught off guard by one of your final lines of defense. If you opt to leave small gaps withing your Walls, it’s best to place a few Spring Traps inside those spaces. Troops will beeline for these Wall gaps and immediately get launched!

• It takes a lot of coins to re-arm these traps, so make sure you have some Defensive Buildings or other Traps set up near those Wall gaps. Spring Traps have the ability to launch up to 15 housing units of troops, but they’re very ineffective against P.E.K.K.A’s, Golems, Goblins and Heroes.
