Here are the top 10 tips/tricks/cheats you need to know for Healer Quest.
• While it may be tempting to try to quickly upgrade your 4 favorite spells, it is often better to adapt your strategy depending on the enemies you are facing. You can touch an enemy before the fight begins to review his attacks and abilities. Don’t forget to take Remedy or Immune with you if some enemies are dealing out abnormal state attacks, or you might find yourself in trouble.
• Super Heal is for sure the most efficient healing spell, but chances are you will run out of mana very quickly while using it. Unless you plan to use mana potions, it is often better to stick with the basic Heal spell, and combine it with a more situational option like Regenerate, Heal First Line or Super Heal All, which are very mana-effective. If Heal is the only healing spell you have equipped, make good use of the fact that it has close to no cooldown: using two fingers will allow you to heal quickly and effortlessly.
• If all the spell icons in the spellbar are red, it means you are out of mana. Watching your allies dye without being able to do anything because you don’t have mana left is the last thing you want to happen. Make good use of the mana potions you’ll gain when finishing a level with all your allies alive, or try to choose a strategy accordingly. You may equip multiple mana recovery skills if you want, but choose those skills carefully when your healing spells are often good enough. Avoid using Super Heal if you have mana problems, and learn to use the spell Bless which doubles the amount of health an ally will receive for a few seconds.
• While your first objective in Healer Quest is to keep your teammates alive, you have a direct influence on the damage they are dealing. Try to use your allies’ special attacks as often as possible. Remember, they will deal double damage if their special attack is activated. Making them deal more damage results in the fight being shorter, so you’ll have to heal them for a shorter period of time and thus will need less mana. Look at your allies’ feet to see if there is a blue effect around them, indicating the character’s special attack is activated. Try to use the offensive spells Strength and Speed on an ally that has his special attack activated for an insane amount of damage!
• Self Confidence is the Knight’s special attack. It is activated when he has more than 85-percent health, so keep in mind it is always set at the start of the fight, as the blue effect around his feet will hint you. Casting Shield or Invulnerable on him as soon as the fight starts allows him to keep Self Confidence activated for a few additional seconds. While the Knight is the ally that deals the less damage per attack (8), his special attack is the easiest to activate. Try to keep him near full health as much as possible.
