Throughout the entire month of November 2015, a surprising amount of great action games became available through Google Play. We played a whole bunch of ’em and came away with five of our favorite bullet ridden and sword clashing filled action games. 1. Sky Squad

Invading aliens are ready to take over planet Earth and wipe out the human race. In Sky Squad, the only way to combat them is by taking the fight into the clouds. With five Warplanes to choose from, you’re given the tough task of dodging plenty of gunfire and blasting your foes out of the sky. Like most old school shoot ’em up’s, this mobile shooter is difficult but not all impossible. The randomly generated stages means you’ll always encounter a new enemy layout to lay waste to. Power up your Warplanes and go on a rampage against those damned extraterrestrials.

2. Sword of Chaos

Our next pick is ready made for gamers who like to hand out colorful beatdowns in real time. Sword of Chaos is an action packed MMORPG that lets you go on a fun power trip with powerful female warriors. The male picks are just as cool, by the way. The game itself should instantly be entertaining to those who’ve spent hours in Diablo and Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance top down environments. You’ll need to explore 20 different floors and use your warrior to wipe out all types of enemies. You can even take your customized character in PVP battles, so there’s always a new challenge for you to take on.

On consoles, Star Wars Battlefront is enjoying a nice run as the galactic multiplayer shooter fans need to play. For those who want to enjoy some of the action on their Android device, the mobile game companion is where you should aim your sights. Not only does this app offer up console game updates and in-game stats on your collected items, you can also play a cool game within it. The strategic card game Base Command challenges you to wipe out enemy forces on a miniature battlefield. If you’re successful, you’ll gain credits that goes toward new unlockables in the main game. Sounds like an awesome deal to us!
