Star Wars: Commander has been dubbed “Clash of Clans killer” by many players and I really am curious to see if the game will be able to dethrone the highly popular strategy game. Until then, we’ll keep playing and we’ll share with you tips and tricks to help you become a better player as well. In this article, we’re going to check out how to get more crystals for free in Star Wars: Commander.

As you probably know already, the crystals are the premium currency in the game and they are usually obtained by spending real life money on them. You have and will have all sorts of deals giving you great value for your purchase, so always be on the lookout for such deals: any that you get extra are basically free crystals. But now let’s check out below some methods to get Star Wars: Commander free crystals without having to spend any cash!

Connect on Facebook
Simply connecting your game with your Facebook account will give you 10 free crystals. It’s a one time offer, but it’s well worth the trouble.

Rate the game
Every now and then you will get a pop-up asking you to review the game. Do so and you will receive 25 free crystals. You don’t even have to actually review the game, if you don’t want to!

Clean up the trash
All the debris on your base has the potential to give you some free crystals when it’s cleaned up. So make sure that you remove it as often as possible in order to increase your free crystal gains. The good thing about the debris is that it keeps spawning back, so it’s a good idea to have an area for that and for harvesting free crystals.

Master the single player missions
You can get a nice sum of free crystals by mastering the single player missions (completing chapters with three star ratings). Be careful, though, as the last mission must be mastered in any chapter as you won’t have the option to replay it. So make sure that you have all that it takes to get the three stars when starting a new mission in the chapter. This is the easiest way to get free crystals early in the game and spend them on that extra droid (this should be your main priority).
