How do you play manhunt

as in the childhood playground game?
one person is chosen to be the hunter. he then has to chase the other players and bring them down to the floor and pin them there. once a player has been pinned then they must help to get the other players until one man is left.- he is then the hunter in the next round.

in 'manhunt touch' [for the week hearted children or those whose school has strict rules] the hunter must touch the other players on the back in order to recrute them.
