So first get one of the normal chao eggs hat you first get in the garden then go out and get about 10 green chaos drives or animals a lot of people say that you can only give it chaos drives but you can give it animals instead and people say that you can only raise it with shadow but they are WRONG you can make a shadow chao with rouge or eggman but most people use shadow though it will go into a cocoon after about 3 hours unless it's stamina is high and then when it's about two or three chao years old keep giving it chaos drives or animals then it will look a lot like shadow I hope this helps
