How do you get nookingtons in animal crossing for ds without connecting with a friend

heres a better solution listen i was angry too that i didnt have anyone do connect too ok first save up to at least 21,435 bells in nook point system then save the game after that hit continue then don't wake up your player go to the phone and change the date to may or April then go to nooks and ta dah
