How to get garrys mod to work

First you buy the game of course

But it's not complete yet. You need a source for it.

Now sources include Half-Life, Team Fortress 2, Day of Defeat.

Buying anyone of those will do the trick. Once bought you don't need ot do anything else. They will integrate themselves with Garrys Mod. So then you'll be able to play Garrys mod.
