On oblivion where can you find a bear

well to start off bears just knock you down, and when defeated, they drop nothing but bear pelt (which is useless) but to find one, just go out in any woods and eventually they will pop out, or go to the jerall mountains. Or do the dark brotherhood quests and eventually there will be a quest when you assasinate someone who takes care of animals in a cave. There are about three brown bears in the cave good luck
