How do you create a character on maple story

Log in on the official MS website (maplestory.nexon.net), and press Start Game. When you're in the world selection screen, choose a world and a bridge with glowing empty characters will appear. Press Create, and it'll open a new map where you can create, name and customise your character. Then just press Start!
