Who is the Iblis Trigger

Silver discovered that the Iblis Trigger was really a flame inside Elise. He was told that it was Sonic so that when he killed Sonic (since Mephalis told him that Sonic was the Iblis Trigger when Sonic really isn't), the princess would cry boo hoo hoo and then the Iblis Trigger would be released.
