How do you become a buddy on IMVU

Well to become a buddy, you first have to chat with someone...If you havent yet chatted with someone and you are using the new version you can just go to the main screen and click on Chat Now to be randomly connected to someone or you can go to Find Friends and search a little more specifically. Once you are in a chat with someone, and in the new version, you can just click on the avatar you are chatting with and then click Profile. Then a little window pops up saying the avatar's details. In that window, a little gold button will say Add Buddy. Click it.
