How do you beat the monster in molida in phantom hourglass

alright this is how i think you do it. when you get there try to manourve the monster's shots. when he stops shooting shoot at his eye with the cannon. this will only do damage if the monster's eye is open. if the eye is shut, it will not do any damge. do this maybe around 5 times and he will die. hope this helps
