When I try to download Custom Firmware 3.95 GEN-2 on My psp it says game could not be started what do you do can someone help me

first does your PSP already have custom firmware? If it does I have no Idea what is wrong but if it doesn't then you need a Pandora battery and a Magic Memory Stick
