Can move objects move the sims too

Yes, you go to 'buy mode' and select your sim. You can also delete the sims.

Sims 2: I don't believe if you delete them there is any way to get them back, so be careful.
Sims: to get your sims back in regular sims just double click their face, ansd they will reapear.
