Does video games cause violence

That's been debated over and over again, and no one has found a solid answer. Violence in stories has been around for ages, even the bible has its fair share of carnage. A reasonably accepted theory goes like this: The impulse to do violence comes from within, but the type of violence it leads to may be inspired by an external source - like video games, movies or whatever. A bigger contributor is probably that a person who spend a lot of time with video games tends to become somewhat disconnected from the rest of humanity, and this emotional distance from other people can make it easier to do violence on other people.
