If other players give your dragon unique views or clicks, this will make your dragon grow. Clicks aren't as essential as unique views, for a dragon can live on unique views alone, but not on clicks alone.
If you add your scroll on "eggswillbedragons.com" that is a good website that gives your dragons 20 or so unique views each day
but caution, you must add your scroll every two days, otherwise they get removed for the sake of saving space.
