How do you use the Spore cheats without deactivating achievements

It is possible to do, but you need to wait until the second time you play Tapti. Don't buy anything until then. After you've replayed Tapti, then go for it! Go on a buying blitz! (Note: This doesn't work on my friend's game, so don't be disappointed if it doesn't work for you.)
