To catch a Yian Kut-Ku, you must first weaken it. Use sonic bombs since the Yian Kut-Ku is weak against sound attack. When the Kut-Ku is recovering form the sonic explosion, attack it with all you've got. Stay under its belly. Stack as many sonic bombs as you can and use as many as needed to weaken it. You will know that it is weakened when it starts to run away and its ears are folded. Then set a shock trap and lure the Kut-Ku towards it, then when it is caught in the trap throw trang bombs at it. Two will be enough, but to make sure, just keep throwing until it collapses.
