By beating the temple boss.
the forest temple can be passed by collecting the stolen fire that some POES took (look for them and fight them to get the fire back) after you found all the keys and stuff fight the last purple poe then that will ligth the torches giving you entrace at the bacement, now try pushing like this kind of wall to get entrance to the "Boss" which is ganon's ghost he will jump onto a picture then try looking at the picture he's gonna come from (but do not stare at it all the time, he will go away if you do that) then when he's about to jump out shoot him with arrows several times after killed his horse bounce his attacks and finish him off
