What are the problems loading a Marlin 336

Very little, as far as I can tell. Just make sure you are usin the right cartridges(bullets for you city-dwellers), and thast you press the nose of the cartridge againsrt the back of the loading gate as far in as it will go. Continue preesing as far in as allowed, and push cartridge forward into magazine tube. If you are going to load more rounds than one, DO Not push cartridge all the way in, merely just to the rim. Insert more cartridges, pushing the same way and pushing the last cartridge in all the way, finally with the thumb until the rim slips inside, and slips backslightly past the loading gate after thumb is removed. If this doesen't help, asjk someone at your local shooting range to show you or offer other help. Shooters are a good bunch, and if you are polite, any shooter worth the name will offer assistance.
